I let everyone convince me Ashley Williams and bolasie were good signings.

Not letting that happen again. This would be a horrible piece of business.

A 29 year old whoís played about 30 games in the last two years with a bad knee injury in his career, on what would be massive money as well

Fail to see what he would bring that we donít already have.

Iíll just slowly leave the room without drawing any attention to myself

Wonder if Brands image with Evertonians will survive after this signing?

I'm still trying to convince myself it's a good deal.

Have you accepted itís actually happening?

I don't see anyone in the usual starting 11, but if you were 1 up at Anfield with 20 to go and had to bring on one of Schneiderlin, Mccarthy, Besic, Davies or Delph who would you choose?

Holding 9 year jilt grudges would be a mental way to run a football club.

Find it hard to believe weíre replacing Gana with Delph. Theyíre completely different players.

Iím of the opinion that Delph has been brought in to add balance to the midfield.

One of the few players we have who can play in a 433, and heís the only left sided player in that midfield.

If Gana goes, weíll be getting in another midfielder.

Gana is the best defensive midfielder in the world, and thatís no exaggeration. We canít really half arse replacing him.

I agree - think we will see a direct replacement be brought in when/if IGG goes

Been given the number 8 shirt, Gomes is now 21

https://twitter.com/Everton/status/1151111059178229761

Interesting- does 21 have some significance for Gomes do we know? I was expecting Delph to get 6 or 7

Edit - just seen that it does. He wore it at Valencia and Barca
