well that clears up whether or not he's had a pay rise!

Clears up nothing more than he is pleased to sign for us.

He's obviously gotten a pay raise. Especially with a 3 year contract.

He was on 90k a week at city.

Why obviously ? Because of a video of him dancing ?

Or he could now be on and 80k three year contract instead of a 90k one year?

Key bit from Andy Hunter's piece, on this transfer:

At 29, Delph does not fit the profile of Everton signings outlined by their director of football, Marcel Brands, although he has stated that allowances will be made for older, good value targets. Silva, however, is keen to add more dominant personalities into the dressing room and believes an England international with title-winning experience can be an important addition.

Why obviously ? Because of a video of him dancing ?

Which was filmed during his time at City. As just seen it in behind the scenes clips for Man Citys filming

He was on 90 for 5 years at city....

Now he has a 3 year deal with us. I don't think he would negotiate like George Costanza.

It's not a given that he's taken a per week pay rise or even stayed the same. He may well have taken a pay cut in exchange for a longer contract guaranteeing his security for 2 years more than the 1 year remaining on his City contract.

You maybe right, he may have had a pay rise. But you are assuming, I am merely pointing out that it's viable that he could have taken a per week paycut in  favour of longer term security. It's not always that black and white...

I know. Tell them to leave me alone!!

I was just stating that it's obvious and I didn't need a video of him dancing to know this.  lolol
