I think you are missing the whole point.

It was a specific reply to a comment rather than to the article

Still only 21 the lad. I do wonder what his best position is though, he just sort of does a bit of everything.

21 is still young for centre midfield so it's not quite a make or break season for him, but he does need more game time. Being a back up for so long might be stunting him.

If Tom canít get on the pitch when Gomes is that bad, he really canít have much of a future, can he?

Now Gbmain is injures and we need some mobility, Davies might work in a 3 alongside the experience of someone like Delph, who also is fairly mobile but has leadership skills and can support him on the pitch. Delph as the 6 and Davies as one of two 8ís.

Davies has a great chance now to stake a claim for a regular starting berth, I hope he grabs it with both hands as this chance might not come around again for quite some time

I think Tom Davies's future is a little brighter than it was at 7.59 last night.
Something clever written by someone else.

Can't believe he was sat on the bench all night while Gomes was stinking the place out.
It was Martinez-esque, truly baffling.

Think the lad knows ...there is only really Delph that does what he can do ...Gomes Schneider are side to side players ...Davies is progressive ...honestly see Iwobi and Davies (to a lesser extent ) pushing Sig out this season ...and I'm a fan of Sig but we are changing as a team and he doesn't fit.

Think I'd be knocking in the managers door after that last night.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I genuinely think heís our best centre midfielder. Is that a mad shout?

Iím picking him above all three of those lads that started last night.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

Think I'd be knocking in the managers door after that last night.

Gbamin and Davies are the two most similar for that role arenít they?

Schneiderlin, Gomes and Delph should be vying for the same position in my head, not playing with each other unless necessary.
Finally found the thread where I said Deulofeu wasn't all that.

We will see in a few years where he is at. I'm betting he'll be at a worse club than Everton rather than at Barcelona.

Currently at Watford.
