No problem with Bill being around the club.

We've got a proper DoF who will get on with doing a professional job around transfers and an owner and Chief Exec who will take care of the finances.

Bill is still well respected within the football community and clearly still loves the club. He'll slowly fade away over time and he's probably nothing more than a honorary figure now so it's hardly worth bothering about.

Going by the way he's handled the transfer windows so far is anyone secretly looking forward to who he brings in for the next manager?

Well should have signed Haller shouldn't we
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Yeah, three years ago when Koeman needed a big lump to replace Lukaku.

He and Walsh were so fucking dumb.

That will all depend on Silva. If he loses ground, cements our position or drives us onward - there will be a point where he can take us no further. Which one of those three his tenure achieved will dictate, to some extent, the next manager we can attract to the position.

Anyway - go play in the Silva Out thread with this nonsense!  :)

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

We know bro

Sorry, it still irritates me when I think about it.

We could have easily signed him and still tried for Giroud.

Teams rubbish. Maybe we need to re-evaluate his godlike status somewhat. Still failed to get us a proven striker and a centre half too now. Still completely unbalanced.

No I think the recruitment has been good. The manager isnt getting the best out of the team.

Compare our squad to Burnley's for example. Aaron Lennon is still heavily involved in their team and they're currently in 7th. Norwich are flying, Shef United are doing well. They're all better than the sum of their parts.

We've got some really good players and we still painfully predictable. You cant put that on Brands. Our players with the least amount of talent were all here before Brands arrived.

I donít know. Not sure we had much use for Gomes with Sigurdsson here and gueye going. If kean doesnít perform this season then he was the wrong choice because we needed a senior striker
Bernard is a bit of a nothing player
Lost faith in Mina too

Who are the players heís signed whoíve done great? Digne. Is that the whole list of players that could move on to a much better team today?

Walsh signed us Pickford and gueye. We still donít appear to have the senior striker Walsh got slated for not delivering and brands has had twice as long

Donít get me wrong silva is useless but brands hasnít been great either

I would like to think he's working on a different timescale to us with different objectives.

He has to clear the books, he has to sign players for the future who will grow in value, he has to be *fairly* competitive in the league... And to be honest he has to wait for the (Moshiri-appointed) Silva tenure to run its course. By which time the books will be clear and he can sign players for the new manager.
