Thought he was the only player looking like creating something myself.

Won’t be happy if he makes way for iwobi.

Not a lot really is it?

I do like him but admittedly, since he joined his output has been shocking for the amount hes played.

He needs to improve big time this season.

I'd prefer to drop Sig, and put him in the number 10 role and play Iwobi and Rich on the wings.

Iwobi and Bernard could interchange the no10 and wing positions too.

Hed produce more than sig would in that position.

The key pass and cross led to our two main chances to be fair

What about Sigurdsson and Richarlison?

Anytime we looked like scoring Bernard was involved.

Stats show specifics. Not everything a player does, is easy to register statistically. Bernard's more integral than that. He needs players around him up to speed. That's probably a few games off yet. There's an underlying concern we're not up to standard as regard to creativity. Bernards our best creative player in my opinion. If Gylfis having a bad game a lot more creative responsibility is put on Bernards plate. I think that aspect of Bernards responsibilities are enforced on him. It gives him less time to be creative. Pace and tempo is Bernards best contribution to the team. Silva's looking for that tempo.

Bernard is one of my favourite players , he is a very clever footballer and I expect to see him step up on what was a good 1st season for him.

I do want to him succeed I think he is a fantastic footballer which is why he frustrates me. Richarlison had similar stats yesterday and Gylfi was similar too.

So you could point the finger at the offensive setup as a whole.

Both had shots cleared off the line during the match Bernard gets away from the abuse sig gets because he seems to work harder he needs to have more assists and goals

And Bernard played a big part in setting up those chances.

Think he was just bad yesterday, nothing quite coming off but yes he’s there trying to do something

Issue overall is that iwobi doesn’t score loads and neither does he.

If DCL doesn’t look like scoring that would leave us with just Richarlison who might score.

Yes it’s bound to be a concern and you’re almost hoping that any of the players you mentioned will somehow kick their game on to the next level, rather than expecting them to deliver something they haven’t shown in their career so far.

Puts a lot of pressure then on the small amount of players we have who have shown they know where the net is previously. Including one who a lot of fans are hoping will spend a period out of the team this season (Sig).

It's definitely a big concern that Bernard, Iwobi, DCL and Walcott don't score many goals between them.

Which is why we were after an inverted goal-scoring forward. We ended up with a creative winger.

Those stats aren't correct. They show him making 11 appearances in 5 seasons at Shaktar.
