Fun fact - Sheffield Wednesday once actually played on a Wednesday.

The commentators simply couldn't stop pissing themselves laughing.

Was it as funny as in the cricket that time when the batsman was holding the bowlers penis

The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willie. Brian Johnson. I can't remember the other guy. Funniest impromtu thing ever on tele. Imo. lolol
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

.............the other funny one was when Aggers commentating on a player who tried to step over the wickets  ,said ' he didn't quite get his leg over ' . Johners dissolved into giggles. :snigger:
We are special ,we are Everton.

No ramjam, finished 1-1 as did the two ties before the 2nd replay. We were behind in the 1st 2 and reid then sharp saved us steven put us ahead then they scored late on to force the 5-0 game.Another 2 replays in the next round agaist boro, then out in the round after that.Played 8 games and didn't even make the quarter finals.Hard to believe that was over 30 years ago.

Cheers stumpy, I think I was at the 1-1 at Goodison but for some reason I thought it was 2-2, long time ago now and memories not as fresh as they used to be
