I would be jibbing Schneiderlin and Gbamin for Davies personally but I think we will see Gbamin continue. Think it will be what a fully expect from us until October or so, an unspectacular win probably from a set piece
I reckon a midfield of Davies Gbamin and Gomes would be really effective as a trio.

Cant see us dropping Sigurdsson for that to happen though.

Think we've warmed up enough to play a really good game in this one.

I have to say I'm happy to play a promoted team later than the first two rounds. Hopefully the gloss of promotion has warn off by now.

I cannot see what others see in Davies if Morgan is in the squad for Friday night than Davies might not even make the match day squad

Any news of Digne's injury yet? Baines is still a few weeks away so we might be up shit creek here.

Super Kev was fully trained at right back during pre season, Coleman over to left back, job done. ;)

Sidibe has apparently played left back before?

Or Sidibe to right back and Coleman left back.

When Sidibe was signed, I believe I read something to the effect that he was quite capable as LB.  I get super itchy when we are forced to play Coleman on the left.  Think that should be an emergency option only (when Holgate is forced to play fullback).

Do we really not have an U23 player who is able to play left back?
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I assume Digne is fine. He looked ok even as he was subbed. Pretty sure it was just precaution. Sure I saw a quote from Silva that said as much after the game and it was more tiredness??

Recall our Luke?
Finally found the thread where I said Deulofeu wasn't all that.

We will see in a few years where he is at. I'm betting he'll be at a worse club than Everton rather than at Barcelona.

Currently at Watford.
