And it's nice to hear about that side of the lad. He comes across quite surly on the park - it's nice to see the other side of him.

I think he takes winning very seriously.

A lot of the refs haven't been buying his play acting so far this season. Not blatant diving, but going down too easy and not getting the foul, instead of shielding the ball and keeping possession.

Hard to be critical of him though, probably our most valuable player.

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Yes I thought Anthony Taylor was quite dismissive of some of his antics against Wolves, until they decided to take the fouling to another level.

He'll learn to be cuter about it with experience.

I think he just needs to be a bit cuter when trying to draw the foul. Sometimes he is better off waiting until the defender has another nibble, and then go down, rather than fall at the first opportunity. Perhaps Pienaar could give him some pointers as he was a master at drawing a foul.

I think if he’s going to be hacked down constantly every match then he’s entitled to make the most of it.

Refs need to do a lot more and get the yellow card out early.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

Very similar to how Ronaldo was at United . Does he go down to easy or is he light weight and quick?

Goes down a bit easy sometimes but he gets absolutely nothing off refs to be fair.

Not like he's ever won a pen after diving or something as well.

Just seems to hardly get anything.

Love this pic of Richarlison from The Echo - and all the reaction from fans of all ages . These moments of joy are what going the game is all about .

Richarlison has finished in the top 6 in fouls drawn the past two seasons, and he is in the top five this season.  I don't think he needs our advice on drawing fouls.  He is one of the top 3 at it in the league, and he drew either 5 or 6 against wolves alone.

And I really dont think I have ever seen him straight up flop.

I don't think anyone minds him being a bit cute and winning a soft foul. It's the histrionics after it that's a bit annoying. When he goes down rolling around my first concern is 'where will they land the air ambulance', 30 seconds later he's up, scowling and pretending he's got a limp. Get the foul, get up and get on with the game and knock the play acting on the head.

It's not just him though, it's part of modern play unfortunately.

Thing is I honestly think VAR is going to worsen this because managers surely must be telling players now you feel a touch in the area go down .
