He wasnít out of position for me.

Heís a midfielder and that should be his position going forward. Iíve always thought it.

Heís a very good passer, covers ground well, good tackler and an all round very good footballer.

Looks lost when at centre half and heís too reckless.

Who got a hold of him at a young age and told him he should be a centre half. He just isnít.

I agree. It looks like he prefers to be that midfield protector rather than be the last man, where he can be very rash in the challenge and can give away fouls.

One thing I would stress to him is to keep it simple. He tried a few times to do a fancy trick/turn in our half of the pitch under pressure, and put the team under even more pressure by complicating things.

Delph will be another one we can't shift on big wages and contributing very little. It's one step forward and one back.

While we may not even get that, at least he was only ~£8m or so.
Annoying some, pleasing others. Just being me, the GIF master.

Please with Davies progression. Looking forwards to further improvement on the skill and reading of the game aspects. Cannot fault his attitude and effort at all.

He had a few really good games. Followed by a few really bad games. Followed by an injury. Followed by another injury.

He played well again, could see his work rate yesterday and looked really frustrated at times, basically because they was no movement ahead of him

I think it had a good bend away from the keeper, quite a disguised finish.

It's a massive opportunity for Davies to learn and progress this season, and also to make a starting berth his own. He had a tough first half yesterday, but so much better in the second, and really well taken goal.

Heís still losing the ball in key positions but given weíre really struggling for a consistent line up with regards our injury list heís doing a good job.

Great finish last night.
