Nice interview here. Probably my favourite Everton player when I first started going to matches as a kid.

Talks about his regret in leaving at 40:40 and his love for the club.
If you're not angry, you're not listening.

Hilarious when he left us to join Fulham because he wanted to win trophies

Just shows how bad we were back then.

Left under a black cloud for me though.

Great season 02/03 I think did alright like.

Didn't mind him much when he was here, acted like a right tit when he left though.

I'll never forget the Southampton game when he scored 2 goals in injury time.

Everyone had the park end went towards the away fans and sang "Forever Everton". Was class.

Forged a decent partnership with Campbell in Moyes first full season. That was pretty much it from him.

We really have just had a stream of dull disappointing signings for about 30 years now.

In 30 years of football we could probably just about make a very good XI but even then they’d probably still not good enough to mount a title challenge. Been a lot of disappointments haven’t there

I liked him. One of the few half decent players we had at that time.

I have no opinion of him now though. Kind of forgot all about him.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown
