You may have seen a similar sort of thing in the general discussion forum and if you don't post there then why the hell not?

Every day I'll link a google form to fill in and hopefully we can fill a position on the pitch of the best Everton players of the last 50 years, so 1970 onwards.

We'll do two positions a day and voting will close at 3pm every day.

Day 5: Strikers

Team in full:

Spoiler: show
Day 1:GK and RB

Day 2: CBs and LB

Day 3: CMs

Day 4: Winger/Wide Midfield

Easiest choice ever for goalkeeper but right back tough between Coleman and Stevens.

You went for Tim Howard as well?

No ted sagar?

Too early, trying to keep it to players who people will have seen play.

Didn't even bother with the keeper because he picks himself everytime and that's a compliment to the others.
I'd have to say Stevens for right back. He had it all.

Two very easy choices. Coleman is good but Stevens was a much better right back.

I think I know what the team will be.

If 442 just picturing a front two of Sharp and Lukaku.

What made Stevens better than Coleman?

A bit difficult to compare modern day full backs to old ones anyway like.

Stevens really had it all. Great at defending and a decent cross on him too. Think Coleman outshines him in the scoring charts though.

Coleman was great and everything but Stevens also had his partnership with Tricky Trev as well. The two would interchange brilliantly. Like Baines and Pienaar but even better than that.

Final X1 should essentially be the mid 80's team with 2 or max 3 adjustments. But I guess it will hinge on the age of people voting.

Trevor Steven vs Andrei Kanchelskis should be interesting.

I agree, but Andrei has to get in, was out of this world, just wish we had him for longer
