Love the fact Rideout still says ‘we’ about the club

Nice to a point like, but as a club it's a fucking disgrace we've not won anything since then, embarrassing really

I hated that dogs of war tag. Probably because it was attributed to us when we were so shit.

Me too to be honest. Hate hearing people say an Everton team should be like the dogs of war. Shite but will fight?

No Everton is the team that plays beautiful football, and we shouldn't be brainwashes by sky.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

It was very appropriate in '95 though, as much as you may dislike it.

It was, but despite the cup win, the 90s absolutely stank and I hate being reminded of them.

Got to be honest and say I loved the dogs of war tag... We were shite but that name gave me such hope that despite being utter turd we'd survive through true spirit and hard work.

Maybe not a tag I want us referred to as now, but back then it gave something to cling on to, and a rare thing to be proud of during those dark days

It's just a massive shame we had Johnson at the helm at the time who blocked Royle from signing Tore andre Flo and a Center back I can't remember but he went on to be boss.

Royle would have improved us and built on the whole "Dogs of war" tag I reckon.

Times would have been better in the 90's than they ultimately turned out to be.

Wonder how it would have been if Andy Gray took over
