See Thiago Silva is being linked on a free, worked with Carlo before. A little bit past his peak but could be a decent acquisition on the right deal

Thiago Silva as the stopper organiser and Mason covering and playing ball.

It's not got any longevity and his wages would be a JOKE, and I don't think a good forward thinking club should so these moves but - he is thiago silva like.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Thiago Silva rumours are gathering a bit of pace, few saying he's keen on coming to us but wants a 2 year deal.

Wasn't he on mega bucks at PSG? Surely we won't be offering him 100+K a week

I'm 80/20 against thiago silva.

Same. Could be wrong, and it might be inspired, but just feels like a formerly great player coming for a wind down on big money, and the opposite of the kind of deal we should be doing.

He's still playing regularly at a high enough level for me to think he walks into our team. Think his experience and knowledge would aid the likes of Mina, Keane and Holgate no end. Prefer a year with an option of a second, but id like to see him

Given the financial limitations we will be facing, a player of his caliber on a free is a risk worth taking, assuming we can keep his wages down.  Not like he road the bench for PSG this past season.  Played 30 matches, and likely would have played 40+.

I agree, but Ligue 1 is a proper farmer league and PSG are so far ahead of everyone else. He could get embarrassed over here.

Im actually excited at the thought of him here, hes a winner and his influence will only benefit the squad.

Mind you, I said exactly the same about Rooney
