Total props to Carlo for the last 2 results. Theres not much he can do currently about the crop of players hes got, but hes got a defence that hes managed to organise and 2 young strikers that hes got playing well together

That's 2 out of 3 sections in workable order. The midfield is a well documented shit show, but hes managed to ship out Schneiderlin now and with a few reinforcements in the summer, he really could turn us around.

Tactically though, and I believe as a man manager, hes historically one of the best around. He got the system bang on for the last 2 games to help preserve fitness and be tough to beat. While chances were limited to a premium yesterday we made it count from a set play, which we have been more fruitful than most since he took over

Out of those midfield lot, Tom Davies is a concern at the moment, not sure if it's his confidence or sharpness, but it felt like he had no choice but to take him off yesterday. Thankfully Carlo made the call early and we started the 2nd half really well. Iwobi and Bernard both improved after the break so whatever the team talk was, it worked.

Bernard does tend to be hit and miss which is frustrating because he is a super talented player. Iwobi is young and can be moulded into a good player, so hopefully Carlo is the best tutor he could have

Gylfi didn't do anything spectacular but youd have to say he should be starting the next game now, hes a greater attacking threat than Davies, less likely to give the ball away and the stats show that he always puts a graft in

Andre Gomes feels like the only one in there with true quality, we've only seen it in glimpses the last couple of games but I am convinced that with a couple of better players (or better performances) around him that his sharpness and fitness will come back and we can see the best of him

Love the gaffer though, and we've not felt this way towards the manager since first season Roberto. Thankfully the man in the dugout is a 5 times Champions League winner this time!also hes looking fantastic for his age!and this has improved since he joined us!where we managed to turn Roberto Bald after a year!
