"I don't want to talk about this.  It is unfair to talk  about a player that is at another club in this moment." - Carlo Ancelotti on rumours linking Everton to Southampton’s Hojbjerg

He's clearly on his way.

Haven't been particularly enamoured by his performances with Southampton tbh.

Spurs seem pretty keen on him, which makes this feel like a non-starter. Seems like Spurs are trying to do player plus cash so perhaps if we're just offering cash it might give a small opportunity.

£18m for hojberg is just very nice, solid business.

He’s not great, but he’ll give you a 6/10 every week and get the best out of the players around him.

For someone who’s not a creative player he profiles very well when it comes to creating chances and the way he passes the ball as well.

Be interesting to see if he preferred Spurs under Mourinho, or us under Ancelotti. At least he knows he'd get a game for us all the time.

Someone tell him we’ve got a beer garden in the bombed out church.

That will sway it I think.

He'll choose Everton when Daniel Levy offers him about £50 a week cash in hand so he can still sign on.

Am I right in thinking that Hojberg played under Ancelloti at Bayern? Or possibly under pep I don't know.

Spurs seem pretty keen though, so we're going to need a plan B it feels like.
