Louis Saha insists he will keep scoring goals to boost Everton's confidence.

The striker pulled Everton back into the match against Tottenham two days ago with a well taken goal, and told EvertonTV after the game that scoring goals will the perfect tonic to give the squad a lift. Saha also saw team mate Tim Howard save a last minute penalty to earn Everton a point, and stated that he thought Howard was one of the best keepers in the league.

"My goal against Spurs was important for the team as it got us back into the game. Every goal we score gives more confidence to the lads so to get a second to secure the draw is a boost," he explained.

"To concede a penalty at the last minute is obviously is upsetting but Tim is a great goalkeeper so that is why we have the point."

The Frenchman was also quizzed on France's World Cup group, which sees Les Blues pitted against Everton team mate Steven Pienaar's South  Africa.

"I have been having some banter with Steven about France taking on South Africa in the World Cup.  It is a great draw for both teams,” he replied.

"It doesn't matter who you get though as it is the World Cup so all teams are very strong.  It is a big draw but if France get themselves together they have a great chance to get through the groups stages."

Thank goodness for that because Jo and Yakubu stopped a few months ago.
