Back to back wins at Craven Cottage - i can feel it in my bones - I think our new acquisitions may gee us on a bit now and am feeling confident that we'll repeat last season's score - 2-0 - Saha and Bilya to score on his debut.
2-0 to us. Cahill and Saha. Same team as Wigan, with both Heitinga and Bilya coming on in the second half.
I can see a 2-1 or maybe a 3-1 to us.
I can see us winning this one too. 1-2 will do me nicely.
Loving the confidence
Quote from: cadLoving the confidence
same here 3-0 everton and yobo to score one
1-2 to us, Saha and Jo - Dempsey.
is this on TV btw?
yh its on sky at 4pm
cool, thanks
1-2 Baines with a free kick and Pienaar with a tap in.
0-2 Osman & Jo
1-1 (Hangeland and Cahill)
0-5 Cahill, Fellaini 2, Saha, Jo
Fulham are off to a poor start which I might ordinarily say would work for us, but I think Hodgson will have them ready.
Will be nice to see hopefully Billy and Heitinga get run outs and a decisive break to the Craven Cottage hoodoo,
2-0 us
1-0 Saha
No idea. Don't even know who'll be playing yet
2-4
Dempsey, Kamara, Jo (2), Pienaar, Baines
Quote from: timloidNo idea. Don't even know who'll be playing yet
Well contributed there Lid
yak hatrick anyone?, hes travelling, cant see him getting on, so i'll say saha with 2
I went there on a few occasions and knew we should have won, but didnt. Then last season we did! I think we will win again. It's a bit like our hoodoo at Spurs. No matter how well we played, we lost. Then we won! We have won the last 3 there. I confidently expect a win. (Word of warning: my predictions are usually shite, sorry)
1-0
cahill
3-2, Saha, Fellaini and Heitinga :woohoo:
0-1 bilya with a debut goal from of the bench
Does anybody have the squad for tomorrow?
Just noticed this game is on Sky, so I want to alter my prediction.
We'll lose 2-0, one of them from a set piece and one plain soft, we will not string 2 passes together all day, someone will get a long term injury. I am sure someone at Sky has put a gypsy curse on us or something, evn when they play well on Sky we don't win :shakeyheadman:
2-0 for the blues today would love to see Heitinga score and i think the Yak will get one - think it will be a very close game though but with our additions i think and hope everyone should raise their game

it's not sky you should worry about mate, it's espn and their 6-1 curse.
us 2 win 2-0 bily and piennar for me
Team for today: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Yobo, Distin, Neville, Cahill, Osman, Pienaar, Rodwell, Jo.
Subs to be announced.

hmmmmm.....Neville AND Rodwell in midfield!.... should see Rodwell getting forward a bit!
Not a surprising selection. Looks good enough to me with hopefully options on the bench.
Same old, same old, was hoping to get more of a look at one or two of the new boys.
Quote from: FynciSame old, same old, was hoping to get more of a look at one or two of the new boys.
This. I know its not really the point but it'd just be nice to see some new players to make it a little more exciting, especially when our right side attacking is usually so predictably bad. Maybe some competition will have inspired Osman though...
I like the look of the bench for once some good options
The bench is better than the starting team. I cant believe DM is sticking with Osman and Hibbert
Quote from: mushI like the look of the bench for once some good options
Whens the last time we had that many options on the bench? As much as I'd like to see Heitinga and Billy get a run-out, I think Moyes is smart to gradually merge them into the team.
billy and heitinger were away all week with internationals so moyes not had a great deal of time to integrate them into the team training wise hense sticking with osman and hibbert, im sure once they have settled and are used to our play they will start. IMO.
Anyone think Jo will ever score away from goodison?? Could it be today???
No sorry..... just being silly
I thought Hibbert as banned? Wen does that start???
European ban only
Tim cahil
yyyyyyesssssssssssssss
Good lad.
Great cross by Baines as a free kick and Cahill powers a header into the net. 1-0 to us!
Cahill is the boss and makes all the decisions at Everton!
Was marginally offside but great header. Osman not offside
cahill!
Jo having a good game so far
Wat a prick danny murphy is
Good team performance so far, Rodwell looks comfortable on the ball again.
Not long before the ex RS murphy is sent off
Impressed with Cahill and Osman's involvement!
Osman loves playing against Fulham. Amazing what a little bit of competition does
You can just tell dempsy is going to score
I want to reach through this computer screen and choke Murphy and Zamora. Can't stand their constant whining.
Quote from: BlueRockWas marginally offside but great header. Osman not offside
spot on
How the hell is Murphy still on the pitch? He should have been booked for both of the 2 challenges he'd made before the one he finally got booked for, and then that childish little slap at Pienaar should have been another.
We're playing alright really - you can see the confidence is returning. The defence look fairly secure although I think we still look weak against crosses to the far post. Ossie is having a good game so hopefully the competition will bring the best out of him.
Hope we go up 0-2 so we can get the new boys on for 10 minutes or so.
Quote from: bryanHope we go up 0-2 so we can get the new boys on for 10 minutes or so.
To be honest I'd be confident enough to stick one of them on (Billy probably) as things are already. Not that I don't think Fulham can get back in it, but just because I don't think it would upset our rhythm at all.
Dempsey looks like their biggest threat so far, but either than him fulham aren't looking dangerous at all.
fucking shite..... why can we only play for 45
It's not that we can only play for 45, we just can't change the 'protect the lead' mentality that we have.
Hope Neville's ok.
Neville broken his leg here? Doesn't look good...
Heitinga on - surprised its not Fellaini.
Doesnt look good for pip.
That was a nasty tackle i couldnt imagine neville recovering from that very soon. time to see what Hetienga can do. Ive been dissapointed by the fact that we are being outplayed by fulham would have loved to see osman pulled inside and put bily in
:(
Hope he's alright. It'll give Heitinga a chance to show us if he's any good as a defensive midfielder, but still...
What happenend to him?
Fucking poxy work computers can't do anything they have technological capacity of a 80's casio digital watch.
Did he walk off?

Now it's time to take Osman off and bring on Billy and also maybe bring on the Yak for Jo

Curious taking off a striker and replacing him with a midfielder.
Perhaps 460 for a while to regain control a bit?
Its really not great is it ?
Jo off... Good decision.
Quote from: everton.chrisNow it's time to take Osman off and bring on Billy and also maybe bring on the Yak for Jo
Congratulations on finding this thread.
Fellaini on for Jo, no striker on pitch.................going for draw.
Disappointing Moyes
2 strikers on the bench, replace jo with fellaini instead at 1-1
lol
Felli on for Jo??? So games a draw with 20 min left and he decided to play with no striker the fuckin clueless negative cunt! Fucking USELESS!
How poorly does Osman have to play before DM realise that he is just not good enough to start or even get a place on the bench
Quote from: Si2 strikers on the bench, replace jo with fellaini instead at 1-1
Very negative from Moyes I thought.
we have totally stopped here, gonna struggle to get back in this
Officiateing Has been Shit. just came on to say that... It seems every offside is ONside.
That is all
moyes has totaly mind fucked me with his subs today
Fellaini with the most incisive passing again...
Wondering if it'll be Yak or Billy for the cameo now? Think we handed the momentum to Fulham though, we need someone to get it back.
I thought Jo was awfull... So replacing him with even a defender would be an improvement in the attacking area. Althoug bringing the Yak on for 20 mins wouldn't of hurt.
If Yak is not fit enough for 20 mins then why bother with him on the bench ! :bang:
Exactly.
F sake.
W A N K - If we play like this every week we are FUCKED
now what you going to do moyes?
reserve keeper?
Bollocks :bang:
Shit Subs Moyes. Dont say it often but you were wrong. Cant even play for draw now.
2-1 exactlly what we deserve for being so fuckin negative! Twat!!
fuck, isnt it obvious he'll be moving it onto his left? for fucks sake
Fucking useless 2-1 down, great substitution DM
Absolutely pathetic. Also have to say that for a debut Heitinga doesn't look like he can be that bothered - really laboured performance, never showing for the ball, and not really wanting to get involved.
Come on Yak show us what you can DO!!!
Can't believe that stayed out... get Vaughan or Yakubu on now for goodness sake!
If i have said it once i will say it a million times....Take Osman off and keep him off he is like a headless chicken but not as talented
you have said it a million times.
give it a fucking rest
hibbert has been very very poor this half, especially attacking.
Are you his agent
That attempted throw to Felli from Hibbert sums him up. Fucking inadequate.
Quote from: cantoffeehibbert has been very very poor this half, especially attacking.
bit of a suprise that really isnt it.
if hes playing Moyes needs to pull his finger out of his arse and create a system not reliant on attacking fullbacks.
any fucking system would do any. Not this gobshite, lets see what happens bollocks
Long ball after long ball :(
Ignore chris. He was the same on the br. Will blame osman and hibbert for baines allowing duff to but inside
Distin is strong in the air but looks like he is wearing 10 tonne boots-its very worrying how slow he is tbh.
Another sunday fucking ruined by watching this shower WTF are we playing at... this is shocking
We could go 3 - 1 down here.... Would we deserve that?
Desperate
Were have we been this 2nd half? whats Moyes said in the dressing room?
Quote from: everton.chrisIf i have said it once i will say it a million times....Take Osman off and keep him off he is like a headless chicken but not as talented
He hasn't beed as bad as you're implying.
No Osman wasn't bad, more none existant
Quote from: CaesarWere have we been this 2nd half? whats Moyes said in the dressing room?
Have the rest of the day off, chill out, relax, something like that.
There is only one person to blame for this result...David Moyes. He started with 2 extremely poor players who should not be in the starting line up, he replaced a striker for a midfielder and then when it was too late decided to take off our poorest player. Please stop picking players just because they are "good servants" and play quality players even if they have not been here long they are international players and must be better than squad players. Also 4-5-1 is not working please revert to 4-4-2
absolutely discraceful 2nd half performance people need to get their fingers out
Moyes has to take the blame for today, he was so tactically shite.
What the FUCK was that?
I know Fellaini has been playing crap recently but I would rather have him started instead of that donkey Jo. I don't care what anyone says, he is absolutely terrible. He is slow and is very weak. Also, apart from a cross wtf did Osman do again? Fuck all.
Absolutely pathetic.

Or
"
Come on lads I'm going to lose that bet I had for Fulham to win."
Fulham were most successful against baines. That is why we lost today although I agree hibbert and osman are squad players, didnt think they were bad today.
Would however agree regarding Moyes tactics. Very negative second half
Moyes played a big part in that loss. When will he stop being so negative?
Heitinga looked lost in midfield, why not Osman or Fellaini for Neville and Billy out wide?
We handed that to Fulham, we were trying to defend a 1-0 lead at 45 mins.
Long long season ahead, and at this rate we are surely taking a backward step.
Can't believe we lost. Could not watch second half, We were so comfortable at half time. They had nothing going for them. How bad must we of been to lose from there?
I thought DM got things right.
I know yobo is the cause of all problems everton.
Osman can not play on the wing.
Heitinga had the touch of a rapist and will take time to settle (hopefully).
Jo was uneffective.
Piennar tried to be arteta far too much.
fellaini seriously needs to start doing something because he won nothing in the air out there and he was one of tallest on the pitch.
hietinga was a liability when he came on
yakubu i cannot complain about
osman. osman who???
hibbert was his usual self
and i can't even be arsed with the rest
Played ok 1st half tho. That was all I saw

What about the nice touches and passes he played? Playing in Pienaar when he slipped, the lad isnt a fucking Target man. Just because your'e the tallest on the pitch doesn't entitle you to win every header, Crouch is shite at battling for the ball in the air.
2nd half in the pub knew everton would be beat, if us all evertonians putbets on wot we thougt would happen we''d be millio nairse, i knew we''be beat cos we was playin away from home and danny murphy hates us and he got away with it the cunt, i will be at home game and fuck im off at corners and dead ball situations

lolol
i hate the way people assume fellaini should just get balls whacked at his head to be effective. Just because a player's tall, doesnt mean hes automatically most effective in the air. He's a good player, a good footballer, and like quite a few lads in our side is getting wasted at the minute.
Strange game.
First Half. We passed it well, defended well, but didn't look like we would make many chances in the fulham area. I was expecting Rodwell to have a few more shots and hoped for maybe a few crosses from Baines and Hibbert under the bar to test the keeper. Still we looked in control but didn't seem to have a great deal of urgency going forward.
Second Half. Fulham started much better but no real worries until the deflected goal. After that it just seemed to go from bad to worse, Neville getting injured I think really confused matters. Heitinga looked a bit suspect, not really sure where to go, though he made a decent challenge or two. Fellaini nearly changed things, did more than Jo did in the game with that one through ball to peanuts who fell over. I don't think Baines was aware that Yobo had run with AJ and just let Duff cut inside him like Richard Gere's hamster. Yak looked a bit of the pace and didn't really have much chance, we just seemed to play long ball after long ball to Hangeland's head.
I think Moyes was anticipating we could hold on and maybe sneak another goal, then have a go late on. Just didn't happen, but he was making similar tactical changes last year, they just didn't work today.
I thought Hibbert and Osman were adequate, but not much more. Peanuts had a game to forget and Baines made a couple of mistakes, but one of them was very costly. Heitinga looked confused and I've seen Rodwell play better, Jack was in space several times, but no one spotted him. I think it was a case of a much better Fulham side second half combined with a disjointed and slightly off the pace Everton team.
Not sure there were too many changes Moyes could make, except maybe telling them to make the pressure pay first half. Hindsight is a cruel mistress, but lady luck can be even crueler.
On a side note, I heard Neville's injury was not as bad as maybe expected. I heard he had a deep gash just below his knee, which made me think of Vanessa Feltz.
