Title: Bolton vs Everton
Post by: Vermillion on October 22, 2009, 04:19:52 pm
Decent match to bounce back in, I'm going for 3-1 Yak, Cahill and Saha with the goals for us, Davies or Cohen for them.

Bolton 2- Blues 0. Too physical and too soon. Play Neill as well as Distin and  we might be OK.
Title: Bolton vs Everton
Post by: top flight for a long time on October 23, 2009, 08:29:48 am
Unless some miraculous cure comes about we're only going to have Heitinga and Neill to add to last night's squad.  Add an injured Bily and I tihnk, unless we get a draw, another stuffing is in the offing.  Absolutely no creativity in midfield so it's going to be a hoof match.

Howard

Hibbert - Heitinga - Distin - Neill

--- -Fellaini - Rodwell - Cahill ----

Gosling -------------------- Bilyaletdinov

----------------- Yakubu -----------------
Title: Bolton vs Everton

-----------------Howard------------
Hibbert---Heitinga---Distin---Baines
Gosling---Fellaini---Rodwell---Billy
-------------------Cahill-------------
--------------Saha-------------

Bench: Nash, Neill, Yakubu, Jo, Baxter, Coleman, Wallace

A very scrappy 1-0 win to us, with a moment of Saha quality being the deciding factor.
Title: Bolton vs Everton
Post by: NilSatisX1878 on October 23, 2009, 11:42:59 pm
Not a bad lineup, should be enough to beat them comfortably, assuming Bily and Baines are fit. If not, I'd be worried.

When does Pienaar come back?
Title: Bolton vs Everton
Post by: Midfield General on October 24, 2009, 03:23:55 am
I'd be happy with a point at the moment a win would be a bonus.

Can't believe it's coming to this - whereby we go to Bolton not feeling confident about getting anything, but with ridiculous amount of injuries and lack of investment, it was bound to have a damaging effect sooner or later.
Title: Bolton vs Everton

We were feeling exactly the same last season with a trip to Bolton. The 1-0 victory there was one of the matches that put our season back on track and I hope it will do so again tomorrow.

No it was an unbiased reply, something that you haven't got a clue about.  I'm not even a fan of Fellaini but I'm just sick of your repetitive and pointless attacks that a lot of the time are just completely wrong.

I can just imagine you sat there in your Arsenal shirt with your fingers hovering waiting to lay in to Fellaini at the first sniff of him making any sort of mistake.

Not good enough defensively. A Moyes side is always supposed strong defensively first and foremost. Not today and it showed. We did play well in patches but you cannot concede three goals away from home and come away with anything.

I hope to God that Yobo, Pienaar, Yakubu and Baines are all back for the Villa game. It's hard to be too optimisitic about Tuesday at the moment, unless we get 2/3 of those four back by then.
