Howard
Hibbert   Hetinga   Distin   Neil/Baines
  Gosling   Fellaini   Rodwell Cahill
                          Jo Saha

Go 1-0 down in the first half, and after a Moyes rollicking come back out and win 2-1. If we win this, it could be the thing to turn our season around.

We seemed to start reasonably well against Spurs but then the heads dropped as soon as the first goal went in, we're clearly suffering with confidence right now and it's down to Davie to get that belief back in our play, the return of one or two from injury should help lift the gloom around Finch Farm a bit, so i'm gonna be bold and suggest we'll win this 3-1.

Will be missing this one, have a bridge tournament.
I do hope I miss a cracker, as it'll mean we're getting some form back, and hopefully some injured players too.

Impressive first half performance given the run of form we've been on, and I think we deserved to be going in a goal ahead at half time.

It's essential that we come out  and put in exactly the same effort and maintain that tempo for the 2nd half though.

Well deserved goal after a fairly good half from our boys. Heitinga looks decent in midfield today, and man can that guy lay down a good old crunching tackle. Everyone seems up for this game, which is great to see and hopefully we can push on after that goal and grab another. COYB!

Exactly. We have gone off the boil a few times in the 2nd half this season. We defending well for the most part. kep it strong at  the back and feel like we can create. Billy playing well. As is Baines and the combination of Rodwell and Heitinga not too bad

Good to see Yoba back

I agree, a little bit more creativity in the side and we would have won that. Can't complain too much though, the boys played hard today and I thought we were the better side against a good villa team. No one played particularly bad, and neil and heitinga both played well which is good to see.

Just dissapointed. Good hard game. Challenges were flying in. Neil so much more accomplished that Tony. Can't wait for Pienaar on the Right and Billy on the left. Should be good.
Saha and Yakubu looked pretty good.
Great to see the yak back and strong and pacy

To think we've played quite well there against one of our rivals and still have Arteta, Jagielka, Pienaar and Neville to come back... (four of our most important players)...

Had an excellent stream for a change, found myself enjoying watching Everton again, but for the rub of the green we would of taken all three points.

Top commitment from the team....now if we could only play the first couple of minutes of the second half (how many goals we concede mins 46 to 50?)

That bloke with the beard should of been off first half when he pulled Baines down,,,,,,,not even a free kick given!

Today before the game and the way we've been playing lately I would of been glad of the point. But after watching the game I think we deserved all three points. So for me the improvement is a positive.

Everton are on the up n up.
