Neville has another 2-3 months to come back and Billy is suspended. Pienaar is still doubtful I thought, but other than that...

Howard Nash

Hibbert Yobo Distin Baines
   Neil Heitinga Rodwell
    Fellaini Cahill

in a kind of on the goal line type formation.

We've no creative players at all, so we might as well go for damage limitation!!!

Nash
Neil Duffy Hibbert Coleman
Gosling Wallace Rodwell Heitinga Baxter
Jo

We Shall Win 3-0 , Duffy, Jo (2)

Neville targeted the United game and I haven't heard of any setbacks for him. I also seen (think it was SSN) that Osman and Pienaar could be ready.

Realistic team:

Nash
Neill Yobo Distin Baines
Gosling Fellaini Heitinga Baxter
Cahill
Agard

Assuming the currently injured don't come back (including rodwell, howard and other recent injuries)
The only way is to be pessimistic as our injuries are beyond a joke. Expect the worst and at worst you'll get what you expect!

Gosling--Rodwell--Fellaini--Jo

---------------Saha

Can't see us keeping a clean sheet at Old trafford, nor can I see this team getting more than 1 goal, so I'll be optimistic and say 1-1, and the goals is from someone other than Saha (my guts say Jo, my brain says Yobo from a corner)

Howard

Hibbert Yobo Distin Baines

Osman Heitinga Rodwell Fellaini Jo

Saha

I'd like to see Moyes play something along the lines of:

Howard

Hibbert Neill Yobo Distin

Osman Rodwell Heitinga Baines

Fellaini

Jo

Too outlandish for Moyes that though. 2-0 defeat with us having about 2 shots at goal all game. We've been fucked in the last two years we've gone there.

I could be completely wrong here but didn't we win 3-0 at Old Trafford in the prem's inaugural year? when Beardsley was here.

Anyways back to this year - i'll go for a dogged 1-1 draw, Yak to score.

What I find most interesting is how most people on here think Fellaini is crap but everyone keeps putting him in their starting 11. Interesting that. This is not a a dig at anyone in this thread who did that. And I am not calling you a Fellaini hater. Just an observation

I think it's mainly because there are no other options.

I like Fellaini, but he wouldn't be in my strongest 11.

Of course he would be in the current 11 though.

Saha Yak

I'll go optimistic and say 2-1 to us, Saha, Yak, and Rooney.

This is a different Everton second half.  Passing the ball helps!

Fuck. At least we had a go.

Maybe Moyes should take note that we look better 442 and attempt to win it rather than try to draw it.

He has got better as the match progessed.

Can see that this is a level too far for Rodwell at present.

Maybe drop him for the derby?

im completely done with moyes's brand of managment

it sucks ,negative hoofball go a goal down and have a go yes we have injuries but it wouldnt have matterd if we had a full squad he would have still played 4-5-1 point and happy

between his negativity and kenwrights chairmanship im all but done

It does flatter them. We deserved a goal 2nd half. They deserve the win
Rodwell growing but really struggled today.

First corner of the match for us says it all really.

Jo should play left for us til Pienaar comes back.

Rodwell shouldn't be starting at the mo.  Not the lads fault.  A 4-4-2 and he wouldn't have to.

We wernt that bad. Didn't deserve to lose in such a way. Moyes made right decision bringing the Yak. Happy with that.

Only bad thing is the 3 goals won't help our GD.

Impressed with Heitinga, Saha, Fellaini & Baines today. Think back 4 should be Neil Heitinga Jags Baines for the future.

Gosling & Rodwell looked out of depth. Very dissapointed with Gosling.

Moyes management spot on today IMO.  Good use of subs (all of whom have looked good when coming on) and obviously a decent team talk half time.

it doesn't really matter how flattering it is, losing 3-0 to anyone is embarassing enough without the arsenal and benfica results.

I thought we were ok in the 2nd half , we caused them problems and should have scored , our main problem was a lack of width but with bily , Pienaar , Osman and even Mikel unavaiiable we were getting hammered down the flanks , 3 - 0 was a bit flattering to them , they had lots of possession but for all that 2 of their 3 goals could easily have been avoided and apart from a shot from rooney just over the top, Howard wasn;t really troubled .... and our 'offside ' goal was only inches out

Not a great game.
We did nothing up front bar the last 10 minutes.
Doesn't bode that well for next week.

Seriously, how did that scoreline flatter them? They weren't even in 3rd gear and still had most of the possession.

We managed about 3 shots on target and two of them were feeble attempts.

Utd deserved their victory and it could have been more. They won at a canter.
