Just put Bayern 2-1 up against Juve. I was going to post a thread recently about him. He's one of my favourite players.

Like a forum for music, movies, games etc.?

I know we had the games one and it was seldom used, but I love the movie threads on here as well! And there's a good few music in the genny chat.

I reckon a sub-forum of stuff like that would be decent.

Coleman Hibbert Distin Baines

Gosling Pienaar Fellaini Bilyaletdinov

Don't really know how this one is going to work. It's either Bilyaletdinov, Pienaar or Cahill centre midfield with Fellaini.

What do you make of him? Some love him, some are unsure on him. Haven't really made my mind up on him yet but I was impressed with him yesterday.

I love his passion and enthusiasm, as I think most people do. I don't know where I see him playing either, centre-half, right back or centre midfield. Even though I thought so when he signed, I can't see him playing right back.

In my opinion, he'll either play next to Jagielka at the heart of defence or in midfield with Arteta, with Neville going back to right back.

Just found this picture of him as well, sick ones;

and someone was talking about going the derby and what-not (he was a red). And he said he was going and all that, and then said "I was there when Kuyt scored the pen in the last minute lad. No better feeling, I was holding on to the post in the paddock...Walking out and seeing all them blues with sad faces, saying 'fuckin redshite'. Fucking class..."

It just got me angry to be honest. We have to beat these now. We have to. Or at least get a point. I know I've been critical of Moyes heavily in the last few weeks, and the players, but I'm fucking sick of Liverpool coming to "Woodison Park" and just taking the points easily. Okay, we're playing shit but we have to show some fuckin' fight at the very least, and then hopefully Pienaar, the Russian and (fingers crossed) and Louis the reigning monarch of Goodison can provide the quality.

We need to win this game, not just for this season but just for Evertonian pride. On the same week Kirkby was knocked back nothing would beat giving them one again like we did in the Cup last year. I want a furnace inside Goodison (it probably won't), but I'd like to believe we really get up for this one. And then a Heitinga tackle or something to light the blue touch paper.

I don't really write romantic shit like this but that comment just irked me for some reason and now I'm up for this game. Yes, we've had a shit season so far but this could be the turning point. The "Nevile tackle" of this season. Fuckin' bury them blues.

Matchday Threads (2009-10) / Everton vs. Liverpool

Blue meets red at Goodison in arguably the biggest derby since the '05 one at Anfield. Both managers, and teams, under fire and needing a win to kick start their seasons. How do we see this one going?

0-3 Liverpool. Another gutless performance from Everton, not unlike the heartless, spineless shite they turned in against Liverpool last year in the league derby at Goodison.

What's to blame now? You had Pienaar back in the side yet still we failed to play like Brazil '70. What was it this time? The wind in the stadium? The strip selection? The turf? Kirkby? Terrorism?

Christ, he's even admitting his own responsibility himself now, but you Moyes-lovers keep chongin' his trousermonkey.

The Everton Forum / SSN say Kirkby rejected

Kirkby Rejected according to Sky sources by secretary of state.
"It was a great goal by them but we hadn't played that well the first half. But we looked like we were containing them and I was hoping to get in goalless at half time."

After yesterday he was talking about going for the three points...

Other Football Talk / Attitude towards England

I've been thinking about this for a while now- what do you think has festered this anti-patriotic attitude with regards to the England national football team?

It's not even apathy now, it's actually AGAINST the national team. Me included. Every time I watch England I want them to fail; maybe it's because I'm a bit younger or what-not. Chris's facebook status highlights my point.

QuoteChris Lee Strange looking England side. Hope Kaka tears them apart.

Why is everyone so against the team? At first I thought maybe it was because I was part of this brand of supporters who are anti-Sky and anti-media because of their attitudes towards my club team, but United and Chelsea fans etc. couldn't give two shits about the national team, in general, either!

Is it just lower league fans that generally support the national team now?

It's strange because in any other sport- rugby, boxing, cricket etc.- I support England. It's just football.

Go sick.

Anyone see the Barca-Mallorca game at the weekend?

Ibra's assist for the first was outstanding.

November 02, 2009, 06:17:06 am
Sorry, I know it's late but I've only just watched this last night on Sky +

Messi had two chances in injury time to put Barca two goals clear and squandered both. Osasuna went up the other end and snatched a fortunate last-gasp equaliser.

Smash and grab. What drama!

On a side note, Seydou Keita is starting to get a few goals isn't he!
