Masters is brave, shame it’s not at Goodison.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 5:09 pm Apparently masters will be at our game to avoid having to present city with the trophy. This is why I hope city win everything now because its embarrassing for the premier league and we get to see utd and Liverpool fans moan

Re: Everton Memories from Yesteryear
It was terrible in both 94 and 98, waiting until 11pm Monday night to watch the 5-10 minute (?) highlights, or early Tuesday morning as the VCR had been programmed to record. The result wasn't in the newspapers. Agony to wait that long to find out, but weirdly it all unfolded quicker than could act...

Re: Amadou Onana
How can a midfielder impose himself when the ball is constantly flying over his head But it’s not though is it, the midfield gets plenty of the ball. I like the lad, he’s a good player, just doesn’t show it enough or seem to have the desire a lot of the time, only when it suits him. I’d be sorry to...

They will be on it, but that’s when the pressure kicks in, whatever happens we can sit back and relax, would love to see Arteta win it though.

I have a sneaky feeling we’re going to avoid the usual last day bumming we get from the Arse and pinch a win. Probably wrong like.

Re: Thelwell talking strategy
Agree, and he absolutely shouldn't be either. I know some have been saying we need to keep him at all costs, but the reality is anything around £75m and it's essential we sell to balance the books. I love Branthwaite and in a perfect world he'd be lining up alongside other assets we've sold like St...

Definitely need a right footed right winger, can’t understand the fascination of wingers that need to cut inside to get a cross in, great being on the opposite side for curling a shot in, but primarily a lefty on the left and a righty on the right, ala Sheedy and Steven. Especially with DCL up front.
