Yes, he was there on loan a few years back. Had a couple of decent games for them, then turned to shit.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 4:34 am Didn’t he play for Villa before and bombed, or am I imagining that?

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Imagine being in a position where you can take off a keeper of Ederson's calibre, safe in the knowledge that you have Ortega coming on to replace him. That is the sort of squad depth that wins you back to back titles.

£43m?
Someone needs to go take their head for a serious wobble if they think that £43m is even close to his value.

Re: Beto
I'm pretty sure there's a rule that prevents players participating for a set number of days following a concussion. I think it might be about 8/9 days, whichwould rule him out for Wednesday and Saturday's fixtures.

Re: David Moyes
For all those wanting Moyes back, how would you feel if we were hovering around the relegation zone all season playing drab percentage football? I think people are looking at things through nostalgia tinted spectacles, because as the season unfolded I'm fairly sure many wanting him back would have ...

Re: David Moyes
I'd welcome a couple of years of Moyes' steady stability right now. We know exactly what Moyes brings to the party. He's pragmatic, but quietly effective. He knows how to wheel and deal on a shoestring and would definitely steady the ship. Would Moyes come back right now? I very much doubt that he w...

Re: Relegation
There are no foregone conclusions in the Premier League. Just look at the slog that we made of it against an absolute shite Sheffield United at Bramall Lane earlier in the season. We should have absolutely fucking tonked them, but in the end were lucky to come away with a point.

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - Further 2 points deducted.
Our combined breach is around £35m for two periods, Forest's was around £35m for one period but we got double the points deduction, I would say it's them that have come out of it better. That's not quite true though. Our deduction was actually treble the amount that Forest received, effectively red...

Re: Financial Fairplay Investigation - 4 Points Back
It's only a quagmire if we both finish within whatever the deduction is of 17th. Screenshot_20240315_200050_Photo&PictureResizer_copy_402x212.jpg There's a bit more to it than that I'm afraid, as there is the issue of the distribution of prize money foe final PL standings. If they deduct po...
