Re: January Transfer Window
Buying a young striker and expecting him to bare the brunt of the workload from day one is bad business whether it's Semenyo or Barry.
If we insist on continuing with this model the identity of the young striker is largely irrelevant.

Re: January Transfer Window
If we're determined to give Barry every chance to succeed signing Callum Wilson until the end of the season is a decent option.
We can give Barry the majority of playing time and have an alternative who will happily play a back up role.
It's a sensible solution for the 16 games we have left.

Re: January Transfer Window
Feel sorry for whoever this right back is going to be as it seems we are expecting him to release a lot of untapped talent lying dormant.

Re: January Transfer Window
West Ham are going to sign strikers this window. I think Callum Wilson would be a viable option to take some of the load off Barry without hampering his progress or affecting what we can do in the summer.

Re: January Transfer Window
Bowen has five years left on a seven year contract. We can't be looking at 29 year olds for a non priority position.

I re-watched the 4-1 Spurs semi a month or so ago and got to say he was brilliant.

My first experience of watching football on Amazon Prime tonight. The picture quality is worse than the animation on Mary Mungo and Midge. I have to look away every five minutes in case I have a stroke.

Things like length of contract and player age is not so important in Saudi because they have so much money. Nothing regarding a fee would surprise me.

Re: Thierno Barry
We've just won 3 out of our last 4, with him being an integral part of how we play. Why can't we keep doing it? Fair point. I just think that over a season the amount of influence he's had in the last few games will still not be enough to justify him being first choice. Because of the lack of optio...
