Shame about the result, Scotland weren’t too bad but Ivory Coast defended well.
Patterson did well when coming on

Re: The fall of Spurs
I think the last relegation spot is between West Ham, Forest and Leeds.

Re: The fall of Spurs
I think Dyche would be able to help Spurs pick up a few points and avoid relegation.
But Spurs are negotiating from a position of weakness so I can see them reluctantly giving him an 18 month contract and then sack him after the final game with a large payout

Our two actual right backs will have probably played more games for their international teams than for Everton this season

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
No but even if I was a shite manager I don’t know if I would risk potentially being known in the footballing world and by football fans as “the manager who was in charge when Spurs were relegated”.

Re: David Moyes
I would give praise to Moyes for the work he has done.
However the last time I did that was in December and then we went on a poor run of form and dropped points at home.
So…#MoyesOut

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Ryan Mason could probably do a job and win them a few points, he knows the club well and has served on a caretaker/interim basis before- it’s just whether he would want the job and risk his reputation if Spurs were indeed to get relegated.

Re: The fall of Spurs
This is a club who during most of the Moshiri years I looked at with genuine envy and thought “we were on par with these and they’re now regular top 5 contenders while we are slipping backwards”. It now feels mad that we are 16pts above them in the table with that gap likely to increase by the end o...

Re: Patterson Future
Patterson has been called up to the Scotland squad, ironically more likely to play at Bramley Moore for Scotland than for Everton this month.

Re: Thierno Barry
It’s a sad world we live in when football support is as tribal as it is and fans of opposing teams are unlikely to be able to sit amongst one another and celebrate when either team scores. But it’s very unlikely that culture is going to change in the future, so if fans do find themselves sitting amo...

Re: Scottish Football
And they have finally got a manager after their extensive and thorough search Aberdeen have appointed someone from a team even closer to the relegation zone.
Interesting that Cormack has provided the club statement and not their new DoF.

Re: Scottish Football
Dave Cormack the Aberdeen chairman really is a cross between Bill Kenwright and Farhad Moshiri.
Sooner or later, Aberdeen will get relegated under his stewardship
