My Alcaraz first goal scorer "sub" pick will no doubt be the highlight of my 2025.

We are already plenty experienced/too old. To my mind, the "exception to the rule" signing (which I heartily approved of) was KDH.

Adding someone as slow and old as Soucek is borderline madness.

Probably taking a good-sized hit with our shirt sponsorship next season, too. Adding "Prem proven" old man wages might start adding up quickly.

And it 100% will be a contract we can't shift elsewhere. Which basically means "no long-term solution can be added"

I'd rather play Garner, Tim, and Armstrong instead of Soucek. Damn it, Moyes...

Terrible players, even for small money, are way worse than no signings at all.

For the record, my only quibble with Monday's match plan was not bringing Barry on at HT. The rest was fairly creative and almost stole us a difficult point.
