Re: The Friedkin Group
This is something people are probably missing in the Moyes debate too, when we talk about ceilings. Quite happy to see him continue and see where he can take us over the next copule of years. But equally, 2-3 years under a safe pair of hands will give us a better understanding of what the new owners...

Re: Dwight McNeil
No one need throw themselves under a bus on here, nsno self regulates well. It was a welcome insight into the deadline day at a human level for a footballer's family. Her comments should be welcomed, certainly not dismissed by Talk Sport. I'd like to think someone spells it out to Jordan amd he aplo...

Re: Adam Aznou
Maybe if he'd had a few more minutes, we could have secured a domestic loan move for him. Much rather he had a run at a Championship team, as a defender, to get used to the pace and physicality week in week out.

Re: Dwight McNeil
Find the reaction to it totally insincere tbh. I think its fair to take stock, reflect and maybe collectively tone it down a bit. If someone is not good enough or having a shit game, then 100% nothing wrong with expressing that. Dont like when it gets more personal, theres just a line isnt there. M...

Re: Dwight McNeil
I think its good she spoke up and gives a bit of human context to deadline day and the general commoditization of players. I was watching Toffee TV for a bit but found the carnival atmosphere, supported by the live chat a bit much. Yes they get paid a lot and people are entitled to express their opi...

Re: Dwight McNeil
Yeah probably lost a bit of heart too, he must know his future is elsewhere.
Only just turned 26! Plenty of time for him to go again, wish him well.

Re: Dwight McNeil
Think the abiding memory of him trudging back against leeds, head down, not bothering to track the goalscorer adds a bit more pleasure at seeing him move on. There was a time when he could be trusted to put a shift in for a very poor Everton side under Dyche, but that seems a million years ago now t...

Re: Adam Aznou
If we spent 10 million I'd like to think we'd have had a bit of a look. He's had plenty of bench time, I'm suprised he hasnt been chucked on for a bit more time when chasing games to be honest. He probably needs a loan, but he feels more like an academy player in terms of where he is viewed and that...

Re: January Transfer Window
Apology accepted, next time we are linked with someone and we want to know their goalscoring record vs Azerbaijan’s U21s we know where to come. Oh dear how ungracious, getting a last word in with a bit of snide. I never apologised.. just giving you an out. To clarify you said... " Over his car...

Re: January Transfer Window
Well everyone has their price. Its more he is at contract end and 28 isn't 32.. and you cant just have a development squad. All depended on the price and wages of course but, well, it passed the time this arvo. We wont get him anyway. Plus, not arguing brap2 . Just enjoying the back and forth. :thum...

Re: January Transfer Window
Not exactly a coded message mate. He is a goal threat and he puts assists up as well to be fair to him. I don’t know if this year, the year he turns 29, with less than a year left on his contract, is the year of judge him on personally? I know you are just being flippant but yeah he is more of a th...

Fair enough, its all theoretical anyway, Fulham are happy to run his contract down.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 3:34 pm It’s money spent when other areas are more pressing, we’re pretty well off for midfielders as it is.
