Re: Transfer Deadline Day Summer 2025

When it comes to the renewed contracts it looks like Coleman kept his salary in the new contract (55K p/w), the same with Gueye (120K p/W) while Keane had to lower his wage demand from 80K to 70K p/w and Branthwaite went from 35K to 120K p/w. Thats quite a good reward for his performances I would say.

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Summer 2025

The thing that really stands out to me is that we've swapped: KDH for Doucoure Grealish for Harrison Dibbling for Lindstorm Barry for DCL 4 attacking players who played a significant or key role last season and failed to contribute much in terms of goals or assists. It's quite a remarkable uptick i...

Risky wrote: Mon Sep 01, 2025 10:36 am Sunderland look to be getting Geertruida on loan for the season. He might have been a good RB option for us.

Interestingly they're also trying to get Bryan Brobbey who we've been linked with a few times now.
Yet another sign that Moyes not focusing on that RB position.

Re: The Rebuild

Can’t loan Ake as we already have Grealish from them. That's true - probably makes that signing much harder then or do you think Everton would accept to give him a salary of up to 150K a week? Pickford being the highest earner at the club with 125K a week (except Grealish which is reportedly on 225K)

Re: The Rebuild

🧙 https://x.com/ElBobble/status/1962421584993386909 This is a kind of a Brighton signing isn't it? Young with potential and lots of apperances for national youth team. Would rather have this guy than Soucek. Reports about him being pretty pacey and he adds that height to him that Moyes always love.

Re: The Rebuild

Still looks like our entire right back list contained one name and we didn’t get him and they have just shrugged and gone we tried. If we’re loaning out Patterson though, just relying on O’Brien & Coleman is a big risk. I think the injury to Branthwaite makes Moyes put attention to the Centerba...

Re: The Rebuild

Today seems to be a pretty quiet day doesn't it? Dom King already spoken to Moyes and said that he expects one signing would love to get two players in. With Hector Forte from Barcelona going to another La Liga club and Patterson to Sevilla off means that we probably won't sign any right back. With ...

Re: The Rebuild

So we desperately need a right back and a defensive midfielder. I think Aznous performance against Roma made Moyes write him off, so probably he wants one more left back too. I guess we are gonna try to get someone in those positions but please don't ruin this window by going for Soucek - I would ra...

Re: The Rebuild

Hard to know which way it wil go this year. For sure som squad-issues and we do need up to 5 more players. Main problem is this lack of pace in our team. Dewsbury-Hall and Alcaraz is too slow to dominate a team like Leeds. Our striking options also too slow. Doesnt look like we will be able to score...

Re: The Rebuild

I wonder what Chelsea want for Jackson? They’ve just signed Delap and now almost got Joao Pedro too so seems like Jackson’s time is done He’s a good player with some great traits even if he’s a bit erratic, a loan to buy could be a great move a la Lukaku back in the day. Given how they have loads o...

Re: The Rebuild

Finally linked with Antonio Nusa. What a coup that would have been! He makes all Norwegians forget about Haaland and Odegaard as he is outplaying them every day for the National Team. He is down to earth, filled with passion for the game and still with all his skills and flair he is working hard bot...

Re: David Moyes

I was sceptical about the re-hiring of Moyes and felt it wasn't forward thinking but what an achievement. Same squad as Dyche´s but suddenly they could compete against all the best teams. Suddenly the could keep possession, suddenly they could drible, pass and shoot. The mental and tactical side of ...

Re: David Moyes - Confirmed

They haven’t been coached to pass the ball properly for a long time. You could see they were petrified when they had the ball in their own half. Some very sloppy passes and poor performances out there tonight but it does feel like dyche has sucked all the confidence out of the playing squad and it ...

Re: David Moyes - Confirmed

His biggest challenge other than getting us scoring is trying to find a way to make the players accept some responsibility when on the ball. Great example was on about 75 mins and we had a goal kick, it went to Branthwaite - Tarks - Pickford - Gana- Branthwaite - Gana - Tarks - Young - Tarks - Bran...

Re: David Moyes - Confirmed

The whole Baines and Fellaini thing. You have to remember that at that point, he was no longer Everton's manager, he was just doing his job. He knew the financial position at Everton and put in a cheeky bid for a couple of players that he knew would improve his new club. Maybe he was a little naugh...
