Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed

I was a longtime patterson apologist. I was wrong. He doesnt even look physically up to it.

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed

Well it would have been nice for them to attack my end on a couple of occasions at least…. Still fun to see!

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed

Yeah, I kind of figured it would be for both games, decent day out. How much was a ticket for the games? I am front row at the Everton end corner flag for USD 150. I decided to splurge given the occasion. But there are solid tickets in the 50-100 range, which when you account for both matches, I th...

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed

Doesn't look a bad turnout when you see that low angle of the crowd, they're just not making much noise and a lot of red which would suggest Utd fans So the tickets are for both matches, which accounts for all the United folks. I estimate 30k in the stadium now. The Everton supporter section is str...

I’m at the match pitchside. It’s actually a beautiful day for football. Not too hot. Really lovely breeze.

Not defending MetLife to be clear. But today is nice!

Re: The Rebuild

My worry is that's what we want from Charlie and maybe even Ndiaye. I feel like we're getting linked with lots of players who all want to play in roughly the same spaces. Although with our squad depth I suppose that's probably necessary. I have this concern as well. Charly played as the 10 for us s...

Not a fan of this PSR Tim shite. He's look good for a player his age and experience and was an affordable buy.

Probably needs to be a little more selective in when he opts to shoot and then a little safer with the ball in our own half, but i am a fan

Re: Beto

Missed THREE one on one chances, DCL would be getting absolutely rinsed on here if it'd been him. Scored goals recently but tonight showed regardless of his recent form he's still not a player we can rely on long term. I've about turned once again on him, maybe not for the last time. Maybe, just ma...

The deal was that Chelsea would pay his wages in full until he was fit to play and Everton would pay once fit and able to play, we can send him back if we pay his wages untill the end of the loan period. “It is understood Chelsea agreed to cover the Albania international’s wages while he was out wi...

Re: If you could bring back a Moyes player in their prime, who would it be?

Squad player! 😂 Okay, i'll admit i was being a bit of a troll with that one. I liked pienaar and I loved him and baines together. I just think he lacked a bit of end product, which is part of why he stuck around with us for so long and didn't really make the grade at tottenham. it was a very common...

Re: The Seamus Coleman factor

Was always strange we never gave Osman another deal. I dont remember him particularly slowing down or not being at a decent level. Martinez was really terrified of personalities in the dressing room. his last season he played 2.5 90s and had zero goals and zero assists. And was near 35. It was time.

Top three even.

Brilliant player.
A dude who averaged 3 goals and 5 assists a season as a winger is not a brilliant, top three player. He was a very good squad player and helped get the best out of Baines. But nowhere near top five in my book.
