No. From the day he was reappointed, he's talked constantly about getting us in the top half of the table as quickly as possible and getting into Europe, and not wanting to manage a club that's languishing in the lower reaches.

But that won't suit @superpull 's narrative

Watched Arsenal-Bayern, which was high quality.

We've got Discovery Plus so I genuinely might put the entire Liverpool game on now, as a little aperitif.

Re: David Moyes

Excellent manager. Record in this second stint is 31 games, 13 wins, 10 draws, 8 defeats. PPG of 1.58. If you extrapolate that over 38 games that gets you 60 points. Whether we get that or not, we'll see, but he's doing a superb job. Also as others have said, dealt with the Gana/Keane thing brillian...

Re: Liverpool being bellends

I don't think the Jota thing is affecting them whatsoever. The players were fine when they were getting last minute winners at the start of the season, but now they're on a bad run the Jota stuff is getting blamed. To be honest, I think it's deeply insulting for them (players or fans) to weaponize a...

Re: Who is winning the league? (Cowards stay away)

Arsenal are miles better than everyone (as they should be given the money spent over 5 years).

They should be able to win the league early, and prioritise having a proper crack at the Champs League.

Re: Boring boring Premier League

Yeah it's the growth of data and analytics why there's less screamers. Clubs are much more focused on creating high quality chances, rather than having pot shots or relying on individual moments of quality. Teams are much smarter defensively, and that's why through balls are much less prevalent. If ...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

I think Arsenal are winning the league very early this year.

Whenever I watch them, I fantasise about a player doing a sliding tackle into touch and completely wiping Arteta out. It's worth taking a red for and you could even make it look like an accident if you timed it right.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

That's not the sort of fixture Liverpool have an issue with. They can happily pack the defence and counter attack with long balls and be threatening It's when they're up against teams that are going to be more direct and physical against them that they have their issues. Madrid played far too slowly...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

In fairness only Robbie Fowler said it was a pen, and he's verging on having special needs, so that can be forgiven.
