Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Yea he doesn’t excite me unfortunately. But as todd says, he doesn’t look out of place at 19, which is a fantastic achievement imo. Thats where im at. He looks like a bit of a nothing player but being an okay premier league player at his age is a great start. Not sure why hes not back on loan at pr...

Re: Liam Delap
I think it shows the danger of an unusual deal. Be it a cheap release clause, be it what we did with deli Ali or be it Harvey elliots loan to villa.
No way chelsea would have been interested in delap at a price ipswich really wanted. They saw him as a free bet rather than someone they really rated

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
The problem was that moshiri was everyone's sucker. Was led by the nose by agents and football "friends" to decisions that enriched them and cost us. We paid benitez 10m a year. He was both finished and totally unsuitable for everton almost regardless of talent. Christ we almost signed a s...

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
Been called a benitez fan so I do have to be careful. He was both shit and toxic but I do think he gets way too much stick for "his" transfer dealings. James whos had about another 10 free transfers since was on 250k a week. Mykolenko and patterson were being linked long before he arrived ...

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
On the bright side we made some new rivals who we can watch fail.
Get to watch Luton fail in league 1. Leicester hopefully join them and Burnley get relegated by 20 points every other season.

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
I was never really convinced we would ever go down. I didn’t even watch the Bournemouth game. Just checked the score through the day. Just something about us that always manages to drag ourselves out of it. We are too big to go down really. You look at how other big clubs accepted they fate like Ne...

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
Couple of seasons we really didnt deserve to survive. Been frustrated this season. If only wed signed a right back, if only wed hit the jackpot with dibbling or barry etc but we had years where it looked most likely wed be in the lower leagues desperately trying to survive financially. Its a genuine...

Re: Wrexham
Surely welcome to Wrexham dies if they dont get to the premier league. Theres nothing to watch if they stagnate

Re: Everton Academy, U21s etc...
Yeah i saw that. They rip into him on their forum constantly. He does only have 1 non penalty goal in the league and only 2 assists
Don't imagine anyone paying much more than we got but who knows

Re: Wrexham
Apparently they are now valued at half a billion pounds. That seems crazy. Are they making a lot of money
