Re: Gana
Think the whole violent conduct thing is a bit silly. A slap or just touching someone with your head is violent (when it suits) but you can deliberately hack someone down and that's fine.

Re: Who is winning the league? (Cowards stay away)
Think standards are very low this season. Maybe throughout world football. Not sure arsenal are a great team, not sure there is 1 anywhere. Madrid haven't impressed, barca throw in some odd performances. Maybe bayern but probably not

Re: Who is winning the league? (Cowards stay away)
Arsenal easily. Best of a bad (relatively) lot Really dont rate Chelsea. They dont feel like a side that can go on a long run. Always feel everyone has a chance against them City aren't close to the same team they were. Liverpool have collapsed, could see them kicking on again but they are in the bo...

Re: Boring boring Premier League
Yeah there's much less long range goals, I think it's because most coaches tell their players not to shoot from outside the box as the % chance of scoring is much lower than shots from closer range. I think I read that Thomas Frank has explicitly banned shots from outside the box at Brentford, alth...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
City have got Leeds, Fulham, Sunderland, Palace, West Ham, Forest and Sunderland in the league for the rest of 2025. Arse have got Chelsea, Brentford, Aston Villa, Wolves, Everton, Brighton and Aston Villa. I don't think their 7 point lead is that serious at this point. Not really having Chelsea ye...

Re: Birmingham's New Ground
Talking about it costing between 1.5 and 2.5 billion depending what you read. The whole idea seems outlandish for a club who haven't been in the top flight for ages

Re: New Financial Fair Play Rules
I dont really understand what's the great difference between 85% of turnover and losing 35m year. Would we lose significantly more than 35m a year if we spent 85% of turnover on wages and transfers

Re: Birmingham's New Ground
Looks ridiculous. If someone had told me it was a joke id of believed them. Also how fucking odd is their love in with Bellingham. He played 41 games and scored 4 goals for them all in lower league football and all while achieving nothing.... they've retired his number and treat him like their bigge...

Re: New Financial Fair Play Rules
Oh the new rules are different level for them! Previous was £115m losses over 3 years? New rules 85% of revenue on “squad costs” So Man City last revenue was £715m, 85% is £607m, they spend reportedly £220m a season on wages, that leaves them easily over £300m to lash on transfers every season with...
