The rule also says "unless with negligible force" and the force must have clearly been negligible, not being enough to knock Keane off his feet.
Joking aside, we're probably not appealing it cos we asked PGMOL in private and were told we have no chance.

Re: Gana
I've been rewatching the red card incident and I think one of the strange things about it is that we're so used to players going down at the slightest of touches that this (in terms of a potential to cause damage) nothing slap and Keane just standing there afterwards feels weird.

Re: Gana
I never thought I'd see the day when Pickford is the cool head in the team who defuses a situation.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Happy to see Lampard doing well, I still think out of his generation of players he's the one who could make it as a decent manager, perhaps it was just to early here, perhaps he'll just be a really good Championship manager. I can't feel angry about him, he seemed to genuinely care and was visibly ...

Re: Liverpool being bellends
They've contacted the PGMOL regarding Van Dijk's disallowed goal. They always say you can tell by a players reaction to something and watch Robertson, he ducks then walks off, doesn't look to the linesman, doesn't go to celebrate, just walks off looking guilty as fuck. He knew fine well he was inte...

The more I watch his goal, the funnier it gets, that nonchalant flick of the shoulder to guide the ball in is pure attacking genius.

Re: Football wrong-uns
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who commit career suicide just to try and be controversial and think they're some sort of intelligent, forward thinker. Bellends like Barton, Fox, Le Tissier etc and then their followers who are similarly minded, usually male, middle aged, white bell...

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
The most important thing a young player with clear and obvious talent must learn is how to deal with an unexpected sudden drop in form. Given what we've seen in the past few years from us the fans, how many of you would say Everton is a good place for someone to go through their first dip?

Racism and racialised descriptions/assessment/judgment of players is sadly also very real.
