Re: Thierno Barry

Doesn't work very hard, doesn't close down with any aggression or purpose, not good in the air. Does occasionally lay the ball off well and seems to make very good runs off the ball fairly frequently. Think until he learns to mix it with physical premier league defenders the negatives outweigh the ...

Re: The Friedkin Group

God, the financial/legal side of football SUCKS.

Love how PSR has given all the rich, big ego cunts who own clubs another venue to have their little pissing matches.

Re: David Moyes

It’s kinda mystifying isn’t it. Iroegbunam’s got a toolbox (quick, can pass, dribble, even tackle) so maybe Moyes thinks he can help him knit it altogether and he’ll be a good player, but I just can’t see it myself. Yep. Bizarre levels of responsibility given to him this year for a manager who is n...

Re: Thierno Barry

Think we’d look a lot better with Garner sitting, Gana and Dewsbury-Hall as dual 8s in a midfield three, and Barry up top. Barry drops off to receive the ball and lay it off to either of the two 8s or two wingers depending on how the opposition is set up and where the space is. We have two players o...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Think Moyes is struggling to fit the players he likes in. All of a sudden he has options. Reckon he won't drop Garner but knows Hall cost money. Can use the excuse of Dibling and Aznou being young. Moyes has previous, like loads of managers of needing an injury to figure out his best team. Yeah, I ...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

I agree he’s not getting on the ball enough. He’s rated highly at moving the ball forward at Leicester (at PL and Championship level) and at Chelsea and we have him in a position where he’s receiving forward passes more than looking to play them. He also doesn’t really have room to run with the ball...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

He’s definitely doesn’t look right as the number 10 in this system. He has not been an anonymous player so far in his career but he’s been largely anonymous for us. I think we’d be harder to play through if it was more of a proper midfield three with Garner sitting, Dewsbury-Hall left, and Gana righ...

Took Silva long enough to figure out how to use him.

Re: Thierno Barry

Barry hit double figures in La Liga last season so he definitely knows how to bag, it's just the adaptation to the Premier League which may hold him back a bit in that regard. Pretty sure if we create for him though he'll score a few. We know what we're getting with Beto, and that's not enough so d...

Re: Tyler Dibling

His best position still needs to be worked out but he could be a Grealish-style winger, a pure number ten, or a goalscoring number eight. I think this is the type of investment you make when you have the chance. He has future £100m player potential. Had the fullback market been a bit more robust wit...

Re: Tyler Dibling

Didn’t get too see much of him but from the few times he got on the ball, his dribbling style looks quite a bit like Grealish.

He’s got at least the year to learn all he can off Jack.

There’s an immense player in here if we manage his development well.

He’s surprisingly big as well.

Re: Thierno Barry

Right now there is room for Beto and Barry. I can’t go all in on Barry yet as he still looks like he’s getting up to the speed of the league and frankly as yet has never looked like scoring. Beto has his faults clearly, but today I think the change of approach made a huge difference second half mor...

Re: David Moyes

He really fucked it up from the kickoff. Hoofing it into the channels for Beto on a slick surface when your strength is Grealish and Ndiaye basically gave them nothing to worry about for 45 minutes. Barry helped us get those two on the ball more and we more or less controlled the second half. It’s n...

That’s three goals all started from his good work dropping off.

Probably won’t score much but we are a much better team with him.

Love beto but it’s over for him now.
Beto’s a perfect sub.

Everyone wins when Moyes figures this out.

Re: Thierno Barry

Has to be the starter.

His first touch and link up play with the midfield get our match winners on the ball in areas where they can make their quality count more often.

Beto’s the raw one. Sort it, Davey.
