Re: David Moyes
Structure off the ball is still a bit funky. Sometimes the front players and midfield will step up when the opposition is playing around with the ball at the back but the defense won’t follow them, leaving a huge gap in the middle. One of their best chances (the one Myko deflected which bounced over...

Re: Thierno Barry
Anyhow, he looks like understands CF play at a high level. Only a matter of time until goals and assists match the intent.
He’s going to be superb given time and patience to acclimate to the PL.

Re: Thierno Barry
He wants to score, we all want him to score, he can’t score from the bench.
I get it. Nothing to see there.

Re: David Moyes
Biggest difference I saw today was an increased commitment to playing the ball over the top to runners in behind. No, we don’t have a tremendous amount of pace in the team but when we focus too much on passes into feet between the lines, we become easy to pressure and those quick combinations get ha...

Re: Thierno Barry
Great all-around performance.
Credit to Moyes for sticking with him, it was obviously the right call but he could’ve easily just flipped back to Beto.
Desperate for him to get that first goal so he can just get on with the business of enjoying himself and improving every week.

Now to focus because we will absolutely go to bits if we concede one.

Re: Everton v Fulham
Superb work from Barry to control that for KDH.
Hell of a hit from Jimmy too, never beating the keeper from there though.

Re: Everton v Fulham
I suppose I should reserve my criticism until the match (maybe we actually play well!) but it’s kind of sad watching Moyes pick permutations of the same 12 or 13 favorites when we have some interesting players in the squad who can’t get a proper look.

Re: Everton v Fulham
Meh.
You could talk me into that if it’s KDH deeper and Tim behind the striker but you know it won’t be.
Glad he’s gone with Barry again. You can’t play most of the match with a centre forward the rest of the team won’t pass to because they don’t trust him to control the ball.

Re: Football wrong-uns
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of people who commit career suicide just to try and be controversial and think they're some sort of intelligent, forward thinker. Bellends like Barton, Fox, Le Tissier etc and then their followers who are similarly minded, usually male, middle aged, white bell...

Re: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
I think he has something to offer in a deeper role. Our midfield is poor at moving the ball forward, KDH has generally been good at this. So of course we have him receiving the ball back to goal in the final third. Might be a worth a bit of added softness deeper if you swap him out for Garner. Can b...

If he does shake things up and it’s a back three, fucking sack him tomorrow.

Re: Everton v Fulham
Ha. You can’t play a front two with a midfield this bad.
The best solution with our options is to play a proper three. Not sure Moyes has it in his locker though.
