He won't be entitled to much with only a few months left.

He's probably more annoyed that Carrisk's had a decent start at Utd and could get the job full time.

Re: General Transfer Thread

Don't see much wrong with them. Guehi had 6 months left on his deal and they knew he wasn't signing, Donnarumma had less than a year left and had been dropped as first choice and he'd told them he was leaving, Haaland's was his release clause. The other two look fine, especially as one was a 21 year...

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round

He told the club in October he wouldn't renew his contract, so they've known for ages. As has everyone, worst kept secret in football, all they've done is confirm what everyone knew anyway.

Re: Mateta

I vote for this way. How it used to be. Yeah, I don't mind individual threads too much, as long as it doesn't go over the top. More so if there's a genuine link to a player but there's no easy way to work it but there's nothing worse than seeing ten pages on the transfer thread and all it's done is...

Glasner reminds me of Miss Cook who taught us PE at school back in the 80's. :)

Re: John Clinkard

That's a shame, 71 is no age these days.

In the days where team photos (do they even do them these days) were a big thing, staff like John were as familier faces as the players.

Exactly, by the time we sign him on dealine day and the season ends in May, it'll be more like 4 months. :)

Re: Positive outlook for remainder of season

Incongruous with thread title. Deflated now, was needing positivity. Just sayin'. ;) Plenty to be positive about, I don't get the general downer some people have at times, it's probably just a default for many. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing how the ...

Re: Positive outlook for remainder of season

I don't think you can rely on Branthwaite, he's injury prone anyway and players coming off a long injury end up with little niggles and strains while they try and get back up to full fitness. I would think we'll treat him with kid gloves for most of the remainder of the season and hopefully keep him...

Hearts winning 2-0 in the end. Celtic beat Falkirk 1-0 so the lead still 6 points.

Two big results for Hearts down to 10 men, dare to believe.

Hearts determined to make things as hard as possible, Baningime sent off after 15 minutes against St Mirren. Two games in a row they've had to play more than half the game with ten men.

Re: Scottish Football

He’s Scotland’s number one?! Wow, good for him. Gotten better with experience, obviously. I always remember him being talented but inconsistent when he was in the PL. He'll probably go but I would think Angus Gunn will be number one if he's fit, Gordon isn't getting a game at Hearts and was only on...
