Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Spurs is just a graveyard for managers. Frank is someone who I expected to make a team out of them. Not sure he’ll be given any more time here.

Re: Rate the Toffee - #6 Kevin Kilbane
6 feels about right. Bought for next to nothing. He was a solid pro albeit extremely one sided, one paced and a bit of a one trick pony. 111 caps for Ireland and played at a World Cup.

Re: January Transfer Window
Stop the presses. We need to find two good young fullbacks. Patterson probably needs to be sold and replaced now or this Summer. Moyes doesn't rate him. Coleman is done and wont get a new contract...surely. Mykolenko is out of contract in June. We cant be offering him a new contract. He's just not a...

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Really promising. Loved the outside of the right boot stuff in the first half. Went out of it second half but they all did.

If you were standing there watching Myko fresh airing chances and rattling the corner flag you’d get frustrated too.

Keano’s incredibly oversized stretch Armstrong arms getting him in all sorts of trouble again…..No way a red for me. It was an instinctive caress rather than a hard tug.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
He’s just very unpredictable in how he’s going to play game on game or even what he’s going to do when he gets the ball. Hard to build around that but he still very much has a value in this squad.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Decent. Hard to come on in a game like that 2 goals down and make an impression. He did fine. Showed for the ball and took it on with a few nice touches and forward passes. More please.

Re: David Moyes
Half way point in the season with 28 points. 14 above the bottom 3 and a few points off a European spot. Moyes has exceeded all my expectations. It will be interesting to see if we can hold it or even kick on. Beat Brentford at the weekend and we are looking very healthy again.

Re: Rate the Toffee - #2 Mikel Arteta
Gave us great balance with Osman and Cahill at a time when we had real potency down the wings with Baines and Coleman.
Really good player but I think 7 (pushing 8) for me.

Re: Rate the Toffee - #1 Ross Barkley
5. Largely unfulfilled promise. Talented, skillful and strong but he didn’t have the head to be a top player.

I am asking for a surprise this year from Santa. i.e. a proper right back.
