Dyche is doing well, rebuilding from the ground up. It'll take time given the turning circle of the HMS Everton.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Consensus from Spurs fans is that defeat is on Conte and his players. Going to in be for a shock as they slide down the table conceding goals left right and centre. Huge amount of injuries and suspensions to deal with in fairness. And not the biggest of squads compared to the others at the top end ...

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Going to in be for a shock as they slide down the table conceding goals left right and centre. Average season coming for Newcastle I think. Both just like us without say DCL, Pickford and McNeil. Unsurprising given the injuries/absentees to their top players, as neither have depth, as new challenge...

Re: Mikel Arteta
Except he was wrong on at least one of the three, if not all three. One of the few times VAR didn't stuff up IMO, largely because they didn't have any evidence to confirm it, so it reverts back to ref's call. The ball wasn't *definitely* out, which it has to be to be called. There is no way this ca...

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
VAR should work like goal-line technology: automatically and instantly establish if something happened/didn't happen, then leave the decision to the referee. We could have technology that tells us if the ball was out or not, we could probably even create one that will determine which players were i...

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
I think managers should just get on with it and accept a lot of these decisions. The rashford one was a red card, that Newcastle goal was legitimate, the liverpool one last night was handball. Just get on with it and stop making officials and VAR the main character in football. I’m one to criticise...

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
We were all chatting about VAR yesterday and TBH we all basically ended up with a similar conclusion. For us it's all about how they now "define" or rather don't define how they reach a conclusive decision. For example the definition of a tackle with 2 feet off the ground is "was it ...

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
You can't be changing premier league rules about penalties when the rest of the world plays how its always been played. You'd end up.with teams playing with two different sets of rules in the same week with the European and Cup competitions. It won’t happen, but I was suggesting the change for ever...

Re: Dyche
Understand the calls for fresh legs earlier, but also think that Dyche could have a method to this, that he's extending our first choice players ensuring they're used to 90 at a Dyche tempo once/twice a week, so that at this fitness level the players can cope when we've got missing players and not a...

Re: Mikel Arteta
Sorry I disagree you can actually see grass between the ball and the line I agree players go down to easy but how many get them and how many don’t And the offside rule clearly states 2 opposition players between attacker and goal which there wasn’t and he was ahead of the ball I applaud Arteta for ...

Re: Saudi Arabia to host 2034 world cup
Not in the favour of Saudi getting the wc but is it any different from USA hosting the 1994 wc? I mean at least Saudi folks are football fanatic, can't even say the same for USA in 1994 Football fanatics? As gash says 625 watched gerrard team last time out There are teams in the 9th tier that get m...
