Re: General Transfer Thread

ESPN say £100m for the barcodes to consider selling him. He hasn't really improved beyond what was expected, and being in a better performing team, we've sold on the cheap again.

It's really hampering us in so many ways, the poor financial situation the club is in.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover

Is this about you, or the Esk? ;) No, I think plenty of us on here have defended and supported the Esk when he's been critical of the club's operations and finances, and given hard truths when it's been unpopular. But his behaviour is increasingly akin to a cross between snooty HR manager who ''kno...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

When he was at his peak under Ancelotti he was also bagging for England and looked like the best backup to Kane, and I'd take that over the best version of Solanke for both club and country. To be fair to him in both those situations he had good players delivering frequent quality balls to him from...

Hoping it's not clingy like West Ham's were. Wouldn't be a good look on a lot of Das.

Re: Dyche

Yup. When I watched it live I couldn’t believe there were hundreds of sad bastards watching it live. Sad bastards. The only un-led question in these things is the enquiry about injuries. Then we get new info. But most of the time the answer is in the question. The player or manager just has to agre...

Re: Dyche

As opposed to all the other managers that provide such in depth assessments and revealing answers in theirs? Square root of nowt, no matter what club emblem they're sitting in front of.

Except for the Freudian slips, and quick recoveries, they're fun.

Re: the Esk What is the alternative? What is preferable, someone who actually understands finances and the operations of business, independently reporting with some depth and expertise what they can see and interpret based upon available evidence,... or having the fanbase essentially oblivious, oper...

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

Don't know if this was the latest, but Colin Chong in the guardian was quoted in 2018 saying that it could go bigger but would require more design work. My recollection was that the standing sections, if approved, might have allowed for more as well ... might be wrong on that one “At this stage, it ...

I do remember that seeing it back. Pretty funny, especially if he's denying it.

Think he just says what he wants, lol.

A whole 19 seconds of injury time. Love to see it.

Think they misspelt 'yesterday'.

Re: Dyche

Team illness and injuries had been pretty poor the last few seasons, we had been around the worst/second worst in the league in terms of days lost. We're currently in the top 5 fewest days lost now, there are teams with double or more days lost than us, which I find compelling. Could be reflection o...
