Yeah, they just about stayed in it late on with the goal.

Arsenal at home next though, and I think Arteta would've taken a one goal lead in this game all day long.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26

Feels pointless playing the second game in both these league cup ties.

Why Chelsea haven't bought a better keeper...terrible from Sanchez.

Re: Youssef En-Nesyri

Can’t just flog Barry for 90 minutes every game. If he’s better than beto, which he is, then it solves that problem for a short while. Why not improve the squad on a quick, cheap, deal like this if we can? If he comes in and shows he's solidly got more about him than the current strikers then Moyes...

Re: Youssef En-Nesyri

Reading a reddit post on this rumour and one comment stood out a little: "Fener fan here. He’s world class with headers if he gets service, decent speed and work rate, streaky but can be a good finisher. However he is terrible with the ball in tight spaces, can’t really dribble the ball, and ha...

Haaland, Doku, Reijnders, Semenyo, Foden, Cherki... Man City suddenly look very scary.
Keep on wondering which addition will make them click, as they still have seemed off it of late. Maybe it's Semenyo?

Re: Ben White

Our squad size probably often leans on the smaller size and our second string are usually a decent step down, so it's really really important to try and scout players that are reliably fit more often than not. Ben White, Nathan Ake, it's too much of a roll of the dice with them unfortunately. We hav...

There’s no point in sending him on loan.

Play him or sell him.
Don't know when his contract is up, but the only benefit to loaning if he has time left on the deal would be to try and boost valuation if he does well in another league.

Re: Adam Aznou

I have a memory, although not 100% sure, that he introduced both Coleman and Baines on the wing before putting them Full back. Not sure about Baines but I'm certain he did it with Coleman. Hoping he does this here with Aznou, even if it isn't to start, 15-20 mins off the bench to play on the wing l...

Look at that. I'm not sure it'll happen, but I'm all aboard the double-barrel train with KDH and BNC.

Re: Tyler Dibling

I look at him and kinda wonder if he would just be better centrally. Just doesn't look quite right on the wing. Ndiaye makes it look easy doing everything all by himself, but Dibling looks like he needs players around him to interact with. Possibly if we got a better RB partner it would look better ...

Re: David Moyes

Still doing more right than he's doing wrong. When very few of the fringe players come in and make impacts it's hard to say his preference for some players is a mistake. If we had a more rounded squad, criticisms would be far more reasonable I feel. If we go out and buy some quality in some key area...
