Re: David Moyes
He was a bit abrasive in a couple of his post match comments again. Seems to be a bit snarkier now it feels than he used to be? Asked about what he saw from Beto to give him the chance today and basically said it was more what he’d seen from Barry. Asked about what the club was doing to “support” Mc...

Re: Newcastle v Everton
He's never had a good game against us, has he? Hasn't had many good games against anyone in the PL of late. Still somehow I saw some headline of Howe saying he needs to stay focused after links to Arsenal in the summer? Arteta does like a workhorse type of player, but would be something if he gets ...

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Big win for Man City. Leeds should've been ahead really from DCL.
Bit of a smash and grab today. At least it keeps the title interesting.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Semenyo has has made a massive difference tbf to City in the second half of the season. RAN seems to be settling at LB as well and he's a top player. Their bench is absurd really. Foden, Savinho, Doku, Gonzalez, Stones, Savinho, Rieinders, Trafford, Khusanov, Ake And this is with Haaland out of the...

Nice passing from Man City for that goal.
Very much against the run of play though over the entirety of the half.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Early doors, but it feels like this is going to be a tough game for Man City. Arsenal made light work of this fixture as they're probably amongst the most physical sides in the PL but Man City especially minus Haaland look like they might struggle more with Leeds' approach.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Yeah, even Soccer Saturday were saying it wasn't conclusive enough. Boyd initially thought it was handball but the more he saw the replays the more he changed mind. I genuinely don't know why VAR do it to themselves. It happened against Burnley, so will be forgotten about pretty quickly no doubt, b...

Re: David Moyes
I still don't really get what his obsession is with the Armstrong on the wing thing. Even if it's not directly related to him being on the pitch, I genuinely think we've conceded every time he's played there...it doesn't seem to make us more solid? We probably would've been better going for a Hayden...

Re: David Moyes
Half way there - Keep him as away manager We just need a manager for Home Dixie Stadium Home and Away managers - another first in the life of Everton FC! It's a bit of an American sporting way of dividing the workload...but our form is a so weird and it does make you wonder at times. Moyes for the ...

Re: Beto
Was the ball definitely out already from that chance he had second half? I never really saw a good replay of it.
Anyhow, generally speaking he played well I thought.

Yeah, he looked more like himself today. Feel like we'll need him to pad his 5 goals/2 assists so far this season if we're to make a challenge on the European places.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
That Burnley VAR decision is a bit of a joke. There wasn't a conclusive bit of footage there to say with 100% certainty that it made contact with the hand. Even if it maybe or probably did, that shouldn't be the bar to overrule a goal.
