Re: Today's Football 2023-24
This game's already got West Ham victory written all over it after a few minutes.

Missed the first half but was thinking beforehand it would be a 0-0 between two teams that are grim to watch but somehow get results.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 12:36 pm This game's already got West Ham victory written all over it after a few minutes.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Trying to think of the last early kick off I watched that was any good.
I’m sure that’s an exaggeration, maybe the Wolves vs Spurs game off the top of my head, but crowds are rarely as on it in these games and they generally feel a bit flat because of it.

Honestly shocked Bowen doesn't get linked to bigger clubs more than he does. He's their best player every time I watch them.
Feel like the shite would love him.

Fun fact: Scott McTominay is yet to receive a Premier League yellow card this season

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Although a completely different type of player, Bowen feels a bit like Moyes’ latest version of Tim Cahill.
Absolutely vital many weeks, popping up with important goals but I think you’d be right that he’s perceived a certain way.

These games are usually flat and the footy in general this time of year is shite.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 1:43 pm Trying to think of the last early kick off I watched that was any good.

I know Christmas footy is a tradition in this country but we didn’t have the same sort of fixture congestion back then. Think Germany have the right idea with their winter break.
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Moyes getting stick from some West Ham fans who think he’s holding them back, when he’s given them some of the best seasons in their history. I know the footy isn’t always the best, , but it’s effective. 6th, above Sky faves Newcastle and just 3 points of Post’s Tottenham (who have apparently reinvented football).
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Love me some Moyesey. Sad to say, but I think his Everton teams were as good as it’ll get in my lifetime.

Boly has just been given a second yellow card for this:

Someone make it make sense.

Forest not getting a penalty now
Nuno having the opposite effect of a new manager bounce

Are any of his former teams in a better position now than when he was there.
