It's very telling that pretty much all our horrible signings not only did absolutely nothing here but went onto do nothing everywhere else too. With the exception of lookman and kean but even then they took years and years of failing before finally kicking on

We just signed a load of shite and threw our weight around financially while doing it. We couldn't have recruited much worse trying to make a mess. Players and managers almost every one a poor choice
