Plus he’s going to be earning a lot of money in comparison for a 4th choice defender so if he hardly plays then it’s not worth it.

This is what the lads liking the post above don’t get Keane will probably play 10/15 games next season because of injuries and suspension cup games etc if this isn’t a backwards step I don’t know what is

He didn't even play 15 league games last season and that was with Branthwaite injured at the start and JOB not in Dyche's plans.

Good to have a bit of depth in at least one area of the squad. Has some awful moments but also games where he's perfectly solid and is a good passer of the ball.

We weren't getting a better 4th choice CB so if he's happy to play that role and is on sensible wages then it makes a lot of sense.

Quite like that thought, nothing wrong with keeping your wife and kids settled in a happy place rather than be of the money grabbing type that would uproot them for tge sake of a last big pay day in Saudi or US.
