Everton will be able to install two statues at Hill Dickinson Stadium after marking out two locations for future development.
Plans submitted to Liverpool City Council suggest two sites in front of the East Stand of the stadium have been earmarked for statue plinths, although the plans are listed under ‘future development’, suggesting there is no immediate plan to install statues.
They will be newly commissioned ones, not moving ones from Goodison.
Everton have also earmarked the western dock wall on the River Mersey-side of the stadium as a site where artwork will be displayed in future. It is labelled ‘Mersey Sea Wall Boundary Art Work’ and joins potential artwork sites on the Northern and South Western walls of the stadium.
Other Everton-themed additions to the fan plaza and area surrounding the stadium include Goodison Park Heritage seats that will be painted in Pantone 286 – Everton Blue.

The statue plinth sites are the flat ends of the two big tiled seating areas up against the stadium, either side of the shop.

Wouldn’t 100% discount the possibility, there will be a certain section of people with influence who will be oblivious to majority fan sentiment.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
If it's as bad as this just getting a ticket imagine the carnage there's going to be when they try and get 52k people in and out of the stadium.
Think it's a huge mistake having their final test event this close to the season, there is absolutely no time to change anything that doesn't work. Probably should have arranged a friendly the week after the season finished and give themselves and the council time to implement some changes.

Modern stadiums these days are designed to clear extremely quickly, nothing like Goodison and old stadiums, even at 52k.Gash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 10:59 am If it's as bad as this just getting a ticket imagine the carnage there's going to be when they try and get 52k people in and out of the stadium.

Once outside, then there's issues!
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Goodison cleared in four different directions, BMD there's one way out, it'll be a mess regardless of how quickly people can get out the stadium, the two test events with half capacity were bad enough.

Plus bolting on the "Legends"
game after the Roma friendly means they won't see genuine post-match traffic until the Brighton game, and scheduling that for a Sunday afternoon brings its own unique dynamics.
Personally I'm targeting the Palace game for my first visit.

Yeah, true I never thought of that. So rather than 52k leaving at once they'll probably be more of a steady flow of people leaving the ground over a 1 or 2 hour period.
