If Myko is out for 3/4 months, then that’s understandable that we might need a solution. But if we are talking 2/3 games, then Aznou has to come in. Yes he might be raw and not quite ready, but that’s what we have bought him for. To be a backup for times when Myko isn’t available.

Changing the entire system because we don’t have one first XI player available doesn’t seem right.
No, but Moyes can be very cagey when starting new players, and a wobbly pre-season game might feed into that a little bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see 4 CBs against Leeds, with keane coming in and JB going to left back.

They are going to come out at 100 miles per hour and with their pace on the break I reckon we'll sit in, soak up the pressure, let them over commit and then punish them on the counter.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see 3 at the back, J o’B JT JB, thankfully MK isn’t JK.

Moyes said there was a chance he could have played V Leeds.

Dunno whether or not that was just mind games or not to fool farke but hopefully he isn't too serious that he is back soon.

Just sick and tired of square pegs in round holes.

Failing late fitness tests and then not being seen for months was a regular occurrence under Moyes before.

Moyes was asked if he would have ANY of Mykolenko, Patterson or Armstrong available and answered “maybe” could have been reffering to any one of them really.

He always goes off with a seemingly bad injury and then he’s back the next game

He’s missed 23 games in 5 seasons, which isn’t too bad. Contract runs out this season too.

He’s my prediction for surprise player of the season.

I know our only expectation from him is rock solid defending but I think this is the season where he puts his technique to proper use and becomes a plus in the attacking department.

He’s going to have more license to get forward than ever while Grealish slows down time like Neo in the Matrix with the ball at his feet in the left half-space. Myko is going to get to the byline with space to deliver a cross more than ever and while he lacks the attacking fervor of the best left backs, he can definitely pick someone out with the ability he has in his left foot.

I think he’s finally going to be a player completely worthy of the fee we paid to get him.

Always liked Myko for his commitment / defensive ability. I think the attacking side of his game was stifled and can be at least partly attributed to previous managers and like the thought of him teaming up with Grealish.

Also love watching his reactions when we score (eg when Tarks scored the equaliser against the shite)

He’s a good personality for sure.

I was skeptical at first and he did look ropey but he’s grown every year he’s been here. And to be fair, with the war, he came to us at probably the most tumultuous time in his personal life.

Deserves whatever success comes his way. Really pulling for a big year from him.

He's a good defender, not great with the ball/going forward
