Jarrad Branthwaite
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Patterson has a hernia apparently so he’ll be out for a while as well.
His body clearly can’t cope with the demand.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
It's going to be 3 at the back.
There's no real other option apart from Aznou at LB, who probably isn't ready being honest.
We looked terrible with 3 at the back during pre season, though.
Ahh well, we had one full day of optimism yesterday, we shouldn't get greedy......

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
The right back issue is really it, not signing anyone there means our flexibility to handle these issues is needlessly reduced. Had we got Tete this wouldn't even be being discussed (well discussed just minus the panic stations). Keane thing is just a distraction.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Actually, that doesn't work either as Garner has to go RWB leaving Gana and KDH as the midfield.
Oh, wonderful.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Don't worry lads. 4th choice will hardly play.
And Keane is completely free and so it was impossible to find a solitary player on the planet that had a chance of coming in for literally zero pence and being anywhere near as good as him.

Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Yeah im fuming at the idiots on here saying this shite.
Pathetic that he will be starting games for us again, like we said he would
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Pretty sure Dyche said he wasn’t ready for the first few games - whether that was due to injury or not I’m not sure.weimaranerblues wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 4:22 pm Not sure in his first season , think Dyche didn't start him , but was injured last season though
Re: Jarrad Branthwaite
Difficult without Myko and JB. That’s a real blow.
I don’t see another way other than throwing Keane in at CB. We don’t have a RB.
Obviously you could switch formations and put 3 at the back and have Aznou/McNeil there with Garner on the other side.
Bit of a bump back down to earth

One injury and we're back to sound the alarm.
Possibly a good sign the squad is not ready to push for anything.
