Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
The westfalonstadion rails and divide are completely unnoticeable, how do we achieve this

Fuck, we're gonna have to become scarf waving casuals aren't we?
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I think they have a much bigger lower than upper,, all the bars for the exits are yellow which helps blend, while ours is flipped to 5k lower 9.8k upper.
There's nothing they can do now but looking at pics from the north stand and the two accessible sections at the bottom of the south - what were they thinking? Either side of the goal making the line of seats even further back, the two big access tunnels, lots of grey concrete space...it's a massive gaff for me that.

They'll be fine, there's plenty empty seats around the ground they could use.

Made it to the Mansfield game, blown away by the scale of the stadium, with similar reservations as others about the asthetics of the stands. I was in the lower South and I think the standing meant it was at least a decent atmosphere in patches, albeit not a patch on the lower Gwladys yet. We'll get there eventually.
One thing that wound me up a little - if the club want us to spend time outside the ground before the match or at other times, where are all the bins?! There were plenty of big bins on the plaza, but I took my Korean popcorn chicken (nice) for a stroll down the South and West and even with all the seating there was nary a bin in sight! A relatively simple problem to solve at least

YES!!!
I started stressing thinking I'd gone mad. Did bins even exist, had I invented them? Had I spent my life walking around with trash but had stumbled upon a million pound idea?
Then I saw a green one. Made up I went over - only for it to be a self-service glass recycling bin. They all were!
Put my food rubbish in the third recycle bin I came across

Just seen that email about Everton Way being shut from Monday until the Villa game whilst they do some work on the south stand.
Wonder what they're doing?

Formal notification from the club:
.Supporters are advised that Everton Way will be closed from next week, in order to complete essential works to the south stand.
There will be no public access to Everton Way from Monday 1 September, with the aim to re-open the paved walkway at the south end of Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday 13 September for the Premier League clash against Aston Villa
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Probably fixing the broken pane... and hopefully installing some bins
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I noticed a few of the stones looked worn and some had scuffs on already.
I was heartbroken for the guys who's stone is on a grid.
What did absolutely blow me away at Mansfield though (seemed to be locked off after the Brighton game, so I never got round to it): outside that west stand with the seating style steps. Just draw-dropping from the outside
