Today's Football 2023-24
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Big issue is they don't score goals. Some of the chances Palmer missed there was criminal. I still think Nkunku properly coming back will make a big difference for them and I will be surprised if they don't turn it around in the second leg.

Should have been us up against this tonight. What a missed opportunity this tournament was.

1-0 to Fulham.
Don't care what our record is against them. To play them with neither of their first choice fullbacks, Allison not in the side and Salah away in Africa. Huge opportunity squandered.

Not 100% certain we would have.
Remember when klopp put the kids out in that FA cup tie?
Yeah, was a missed opportunity, but it's never like that against them.

2-1 Liverpool would be a good result for Fulham if it ends that way tbf.

Swear I just saw Phil McNulty reply “absolute cunts” to a clip of them scoring the winner.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
It's a shame, it does feel like a missed opportunity given the team Liverpool put out and the other side of the draw. That said, it's Liverpool and we usually find a way to shoot ourselves in the foot so I can't get too "what if" about it. Also, Fulham can play well when it suits them and it seems like they did ok in this game (I didn't watch it), they don't have the same inhibitions as we do with that particular fixture.
