He hasn't.

His social media manager rearranged everything into chapters - there's still Everton stuff there

Agree on the environment, it's tough because we're not at a level yet where we can play without expectations for everyone on the pitch. As we've seen over recent seasons it's been tight for us at the bottom and every point has mattered so carrying players is tough if they're not quite ready. Hopefully if we can get to a more stable place in the league though then we get to have more leeway to give these sort of players more time.

I don't necessarily agree on the fanbase, at least if you ignore the social media crowd. James Vaughan, Rooney, even Anichebe to an extent had support to name a few form Moyes' first stint. I think fans want to believe and want to see players come through, but with players like Vaughan and Anichebe I think it was clear what they were giving the team even if the end product wasn't always there with them either. In that respect, it's up to Barry to make the most of some of the minutes he's given too even if he's not amongst the goals.

Hopefully much ado about nothing then.

This is the issue when the window is open a lot of fans screaming for players of the “right profile” rather than experience or prem proven . As I said all summer you need a blend of youth and experience, especially in key positions. If he we an experienced (decent) striker we blood this guy in slowly and build his confidence. Problem is he comes in and has to be the main man with DCL gone and Beto shit.

Right age. Right price. Right ability. Right mentality. Right position. Rare a club in our position is gonna tick all them so always a trade off. Think Moyes tactic of mixing it up is about right. And it’s it not Barry’s fault he’s young or Betos that his ability doesn’t match his heart. I actually think Barry has looked very smart for his age. I like how he presses doing angled runs. Both need a couple of goals and we’ll be good

So we're just a chapter to him?
