Bumbling along until January, slight pickup from there, then a strong end to the season with the team coming together just in time to stop playing for the summer.

This isn't the season to struggle. The promoted sides seem to be doing well, and currently the likes of West Ham and Wolves are under performing. They could easy turn it on.
So its really important we keep on gaining points.
A win tomorrow, and I'll be a lot more optimistic about this season.

Check point progress should be the half way stage after Forest away. I'd expect us to be on around 25-27 points.

Would be doing very well to get to that sort of range with the fixtures we have in that time. Low 20s would seem more realistic to me, but we'll see.Indiantoffee75 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 3:29 pm Check point progress should be the half way stage after Forest away. 7/8 points from the next four home games. A couple of surprise away wins I think at the likes of either Sunderland or Bournemouth.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 4:04 pm Would be doing very well to get to that sort of range with the fixtures we have in that time. Two of the three defeats have come away to the two of three best sides in the league.
I think with the points put on the board mid 20s should be achievable with the fixtures we have to that point.

I can't really argue against what you're saying as I really don't know how good or bad we are right now. We've played really well, we've played poorly and we've got a bit lucky at times with some of the wins (and a bit unlucky with the Leeds game). I can't really work out our level as yet.Indiantoffee75 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 4:19 pm 7/8 points from the next four home games. Don't think any of those upcoming home games are easy though, Spurs, Fulham, Newcastle, Forest (Dyche) are all going to be tough games. We'll see.

I'm slightly worried, due to us not having a competent striker.
Do you think he would play Ndiaye up top at all?

I think he'll persist with rotating Barry/Beto until one clicks. If not, then it'll be bringing in someone on loan in Jan.
