It’ll all be new for us with someone else though. Feel like we have seen this many times before with Moyes.

If that’s true then why would anyone want to get rid as we know we’d end up finishing in the top seven?

He's chucking his toys out of the pram and not playing the summer signings. Did he not want them?

TFG have a big decision to make here in the summer, they are not going to get rid of a new recruitment team and CEO, in which case they will have to make a decision on the manager in the summer, either stick or twist.

I'd rather not lose Illiman or Branthwaite if it means Moyes leaves the club.

Losing faith in him with every passing game... Leaves KDH on for 80+ minutes despite him being an absolute passenger, brings on McNeil instead of Dibling, hauls Barry off just after halftime ruining his confidence with shit man management.

Remember the relaxed matured chilled out Moyes we got when he came back, well he seems sullen, stubborn and refusing to play players he didn't choose as his signings now, completely different vibe around this team than when he came back and it's all on him.

Mad thing is we were great for 30 mins so what's going on there? Why are we suddenly playing like we're shell shocked?

But yeah give Alcaraz 8 mins to make an impact and then probably not play him again because he fucked up even though he was more involved than KDH was all game in just those 8 mins.

Got until Jan for me because it's Moyes and he's got a lot of credit in the bag but feels like things need a shake up and if he's not willing to do it then we need someone new who is.

That was a bad one from Moyes that, but I have to say part of what we're seeing is the fact the squad is absolutely shite, and the transfer window rectified exactly none of our issues.

Ladies and gentlemen, we've done it again :

Good job Sunderland didn't sign any young players for big money, they'd probably be bottom now if they did.

I’am open to apologies from anyone who called me a flapper in the summer.

The squad is a shambles.

Moyes is a big part of the recruitment though so has to take some of the blame for that.

Its not a poor run that's the problem its the poor choices that have created the run.

I have no faith in anyone involved in the decision not to sign a right back, no faith in anyone who was part of the decision to sign Barry and KDH. No faith in the decision to sign left back cover who's a million miles away from being up to playing premier league football. Whoever fucked up that last window shouldn't get another 1. Think a lot of that probably isn't down to moyes (think KDH is probably his) but fuck hes making it worse with his refusal to not change from what doesn't work.

I'd have thought with all his years being round the block he would have learned a bit more wisdom and been a bit more forward thinking.

The subs where bonkers.

Mcneil is the type of player you only bring on if you're desperate for a goal from long range with 5 mins to go.

Lord knows what dibling must be thinking, £40M on a player you have zero interest in playing.

Couldn’t watch today. Was depressing watching the shot count rapidly pile up in Sunderland’s favor in the second half.

I legitimately forgot McNeil was even in the squad.

Would be nice to see him do some proper tinkering with the setup rather than sending a desperate prayer to the patron saint of left-footed bangers.

Trying KDH deeper and shifting Jimmy to RB, Alcaraz or Rohl straight swap for KDH, Coleman at RB. Literally anything to acknowledge that his preferred setup isn’t doing everything it needs to.

He just won’t change anything that’s the frustrating part. If it doesn’t work in one game, go same again in the next one. Garner needs to go right back now, Grealish in the middle and Dibling should get minutes. He goes same again and we struggle again Saturday the crowd will turn big time

I think he has until the end of the season unless the points completely stop coming and/or he blatantly stops trying but it’s hard to defend right now.

He’s managing like he only has 12 players to work with.

Putting McNeil on over Alcaraz or Dibling smacks of making a statement about the recruitment.

One comfort I have is even if it were to get worse under Moyes, Friedkin won’t be putting his arm around the manager and whisper superlatives in his ear like the culture was before.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if they have already been planning a shortlist of managers for this scenario.
