Weird more so that he would consider it.

Wolves are a busted flush, he could have really done something great at Boro.

Really? Other clubs do this too?

Shameful. Was embarrassing enough when Moshiri said it.

Highly highly likely to essentially get a third consecutive relegation on his CV (I know he got the push at Luton before they officially went down but a lot of Luton fans thought they kept him too long off the back of what was a highly impressive Championship promotion campaign).

If the Wolves job doesn't go well, he's going to be really struggling. I think starting next season in the Prem is probably slightly easier to achieve with Boro than Wolves at the minute.

I guess least he knows the city as a wolves player and staff member. Ours knew the city managing our rivals while telling us how small we were

I understand the hate Edwards is getting but I can't blame him for taking the job.

His family lives in the area and he considers it his club. It may be the only circumstances that allows him to be offered the job. And it's not like he was Sporting Khalsa's manager, which is the reason he knows the city.

There's no way he's keeping them up, but surely the appointment is to get them up next year, rather than save them this year?

Might be part of it but I would imagine the bonus for keeping them up if he managed it is far more of a driving factor in his decision.

I haven't seen anything about what that is, but it's always a very sizeable chunk.

Managers tend to back themselves so he'll most likely convinced himself he not only can be a premier league manager with them next season but also make millions in the process.

Wolves will sink unless they get taken over.

Two things that seem common to all managers. Whatever money they are on is never enough and the belief that no job is beyond them.
